IanWilkes—Writer&DirectorIanWilkeshasalwayshadapassionfortheperformingarts.Comingfromastrongculturalfamily,Aboriginaldanceisanimportantpartofhislife.In2008,IangraduatedfromtheAboriginalTheatrecourseattheWAAcademyofPerformingArts(WAAPA).From2009-2010IanperformedwiththeWadumbahAboriginalDanceGrouplearningdifferentskillsindance,musicandstorytelling.HehasbeeninvolvedwithYirraYaakinTheatreCompany,becomingaregularperformerindifferentshowsincluding;HoneySpot,GoodLovin’,KepKaatijinandKaarlaKaatijin.HoneySpottouringnationallyattheSydneyOperaHouse.In2014IanassistantdirectedYirraYaakin’sproductionKingHit.In2015he
