Since 1999, the Trane Comfort Specialist™ program has given consumers an easy way to recognize the best HVAC dealers in their community. For those who often feel unprepared for such an expensive purchase, especially when buying a product they will own for years, the assurance of the TCS program can be a welcome relief.

On the other side of the equation, the Trane Comfort Specialist™ program provides a platform that enables Trane dealers of any size to build a thriving company and stay on the leading edge of consumer demand. It also provides an invaluable network of like-minded businesses that share a common brand identity with Trane. The high standards of the TCS program present participating dealers with a way to showcase the dedication and integrity of their company, while inspiring a culture of customer satisfaction within their business to drive referrals.

Vehicle DecalsLet the world see your commitment to excellence with custom Trane Comfort Specialist™ vehicle wraps and graphics packages. Each piece is durable, attractive and highly visible to promote your professional image any time your vehicle is on the road. Please note: Trane Comfort Specialist™ decals cannot be displayed on a vehicle with other manufacturers’ logos. While TCS decals can be used in place of the Trane logo, Trane prefers the TCS and Trane logos to be displayed together.

SMART Lead ManagementSMART (Sales Marketing Advertising and Relationship Tool) is a management tool that will help you verify advertising results and monitor the lead from a phone call to a closed sale within your business. Product ExchangeAs a Trane Comfort Specialist™ dealer, you will have the authority to replace outdoor split/packaged units and furnaces when faced with major system leaks, compressor or heat exchanger failures within the first 60 days after installation. It’s just one more way you can give your customers peace of mind and reinforce the kind of service you’re known for. (Equipment must have been installed at the same time along with a Trane comfort control to qualify and the dealer must provide the labor to replace the unit at no charge to the customer.)

NATE Training ReimbursementNorth American Technician Excellence, Inc. (NATE) is the leading certification standard for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration in the United States. To help your service staff maintain the level of service your customers expect, Trane will reimburse your dealership the full cost of NATE certification for up to two (2) technicians per year. The dealer must submit a claim for reimbursement with the local sales office (DSO or IWD) with proof that the employee passed the exam.

Enhanced TrainingTo help you maintain an educational advantage, Trane has created developmental courses in a format that are easy to access and navigate. The new Learning Management System makes training more convenient, with day or night studying to fit your schedule and a clearly defined curriculum. The SkillSoft™ Business and Desktop Skills E-Learning Library has also been added to our Learning Management System and is available to you and your employees for a $75 yearly subscription fee per user. CoolfrontCoolfront is a service flat rate pricing application that offers the best way to increase service profits and customer satisfaction. Coolfront allows you to create and manage invoices and work orders on your mobile device using their extensive repairs database. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. For your customers, this means that if the new system you install doesn’t perform to the factory specifications for the homeowner’s application and ambient conditions during the first year, you have the authority to repurchase the equipment from the homeowner and Trane will refund to you the price you paid for it. Parts Concession This program gives dealers the ability to concession a major component part that is within those certain time periods of the registered limited warranty. Everyday Business DiscountsAs a Trane Comfort Specialist™ you have free access to Distributors Solutions (DSI), a co-op purchasing organization for independently owned companies.
