2017 Texas Express Select Basketball Teams

Dear Players and Parents,

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to evaluate and observe your son or daughter over the past several weeks. We have made our second team selections for our 2017 spring & summer season. Below is a list of players who have been selected for each team. Also, practice locations/times/days as well as updated roster's can be viewed on the www.texasexpress.org website under boys and girls team pages. Team pages are listed by graduation year, high School, and coach last name.

All players who are selected for grades 3-12 are required to attend the mandatory parent and player commitment meeting on Sunday, March 19th, 2017 at L.D. Bell High School- 1601 Brown Trail, Hurst TX 76054. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams meeting will take place from 5:00-7:00PM.

All parents will be required to provide a copy of both his/her son’s or daughter’s current 2016-17 school report card and birth record (if playing under a grade exception rule). In addition, each player must turn in a copy of their AAU card. Information for obtaining an AAU card can be found under the 2017 player commitment scroll down bar on our www.texasexpress.org website. We will also finalize sizing of uniforms, payment of fees, orders for spirit items, and all paper work.

If you are unable to attend the parent’s meeting due to a prior commitment, there is an option on our website under 2017 Player Commitment to register on line, finalize all paper work, and pay fees online. All upfront payments will be due no later than Sunday March 19th, 2017. Uniform orders will be placed the week of March 20th, 2017. All fees must be current for uniforms orders to be placed.

If you would like to mail in your paperwork and pay by check, please make checks payable to Texas Express Basketball, and mail to the following address: P.O. Box 126559, Ft. Worth TX 76126. Please write your child’s name and coach name on the memo line. If your child has been selected, but you have chosen for your child not to participate, please email us at [email protected]. Please understand that we cannot hold a spot for your child if you do not commit to the assigned team. Alternate players will be given the opportunity to fill your spot, if you do not commit.
