On April 7, we had the pleasure of welcoming four distinguished Olympians, Iris Zimmermann, Anja Pierce, Meghan Musnicki, and Miranda Melville as the keynote panelists at our Leadership Luncheon with emcee Rebecca Leclair, from News NBC 10 – WHEC. By the end of the event these amazing panelists left everyone feeling empowered and inspired to take on the world. NATIONAL DELEGATE VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT:

Jennifer Brooks

mission is important and girls are building a bigger and brighter future for us all.

The entire community is invited to celebrate the diligence and brilliance of young women who will receive the esteemed Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts. Join us for the Gold Award Celebration on June 3, 2017. To earn the award, girls work to make the community and world a better place through many hours of community service on sustainable service projects.

As the warmer weather nears and the cold and snow drift

behind us, it makes it easier for us to explore the great outdoors. Camp is indeed calling! How will you answer? Girl Scout camp is a great way for girls to gain a deep appreciation for nature—while they develop leadership and social skills.

Lastly, thank you to all our generous volunteers, donors, parents, and other Girl Scout friends who generously support us. Because of you, our girls are Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers and Leaders! To register for camp, attend the Gold Award Celebration, or become involved with Girl Scouts visit gswny.org.
