“Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient classes were so helpful to me. My life has been completely transformed.” – LRADAC Client
Beginning in January, to increase access to services, the Assessment Center
allows for walk-in assessments during normal business hours at LRADAC.
By eliminating the need to make an appointment or choose a walk-in
time from a very limited window of time, LRADAC has increased access to
services by 17.96%.
ASSESSMENT CENTER In response to the growing need for treatment of Opioid Substance Use Disorders, LRADAC launched MAT. Research shows that treatment for
individuals misusing opioids may be more effective when coupled with
medication to help treat withdrawals and cravings. LRADAC’s MAT program
requires that clients participate in traditional therapeutic services to
prepare them for sustained recovery.
MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)
As an upward extension of our programs for youth and teens, LRADAC
offers treatment for young adults, specifically between the ages of 18
and 24. LRADAC receives referrals to this program from the University of South Carolina, Midlands Technical
College, Benedict College, Allen University, Columbia College and other
organizations that serve this age group.

"To the donors who made this scholarship possible: Thank you, each and every one of you. Without this help, I could not be clean and sober. I have more work to do but for now, my family is together, my children do not have to worry where their dad is and my wife does not have to worry about me being dead or in jail.
