With a historic river meandering through its 1,549 acres, Hudson Mills Metropark is located on North Territorial Road, twelve miles northwest of Ann Arbor. The gentle rapids area is one of the river’s most picturesque spots, which is also frequented by bass anglers and picnickers. The park’s trails give easy access to the marriage of serene woods and waters.

This park is a popular destination for kayakers and canoeists, and is also noted for its two championship disc golf courses and an 18-hole regulation golf course.

Dexter-Huron Metropark is a 123 acre riverside park located 7.5 miles northwest of Ann Arbor on Huron River Drive. The park features shady picnic areas with tables and grills, along with swings, slides, and a softball diamond. Walk the six-circle labyrinth for a peaceful experience. Most parking areas are located near the river, providing easy access for kayakers and canoeists. To reserve a picnic shelter, please contact the Hudson Mills Park O� ce.

Just � ve miles northwest of Ann Arbor, 53 acre Delhi Metropark o� ers picnic shelters with tables and grills, a children’s play area, canoeing, � shing, and softball diamonds. To reserve a picnic shelter, please contact the Hudson Mills Park O� ce.

C A N O E I N G A N D K A Y A K I N GCanoe and kayak trips, starting at either Hudson Mills or Dexter-Huron Metropark, and � nishing at Delhi Metropark, can be arranged from Skip’s Canoe Livery in Delhi Metropark. Drop in your own canoe or kayak at the Rapids View picnic area. The canoe livery is open daily, May 1 through Labor Day and on weekends in April, September, and October, weather and river conditions permitting. Deposit required. To reserve a canoe or kayak, please contact Skip’s Canoe Livery at 734-769-8686.

C O U R T G A M E S – H U D S O N M I L L SNo matter what your favorite game, we have the perfect location for you. Get the family active with a game of volleyball. Shu� eboard and other courts are located near the Activity Center with equipment rentals available spring through fall.

C O N C E S S I O N SFood is sold at the Hudson Mills Activity Center during select special events and on weekends only during the winter skiing season.

Food and beverages, including beer, wine, and liquor are sold at Hudson Mills Golf Starter Building. No outside alcoholic beverages or coolers allowed.

D I S C G O L F – H U D S O N M I L L SHudson Mills Metropark’s two, 24-hole disc golf courses are rated among the top courses in Michigan. Disc rentals are available at the Activity Center. An annual bag tag, which gives unlimited play at all Metropark courses, or a daily wristband is required to play.

F I S H I N GCommon catches include smallmouth and largemouth bass. The area is well-known for � y � shing. There are good spots for shoreline � shing as well. A Michigan Fishing license is required.

G O L F – H U D S O N M I L L S7 3 4 - 4 2 6 - 0 4 6 6This 6,650 yard, 18-hole, par-71 course o� ers power carts, pull carts, and clubs for rent. Senior (55+) and junior (20 and younger) rates are available. Some restrictions apply.

HIKE- BIKE TR AIL – HUDSON MILLSCycle and hike 11.75 miles of trails that course along the winding Huron River, through lush woodlands and expansive � elds. The West River Trail stretches from the park’s northernmost point, at North Territorial Road, all the way south to the City of Dexter’s Mill Creek Park. Pets on a six foot leash are permitted.

P E T SDogs and other pets are permitted in the parks only when kept on a six foot (or less) leash. Pets are not permitted in the nature areas, buildings, on cross-country ski trails or the golf course.

P I C N I C STables, grills, and shelters are located throughout the parks. Please register with the Park O� ce if you have a group of 50 people or more. Shelters can be reserved for a fee.

P L A Y G R O U N DA large playscape is located near the Hudson Mills Activity Center. It features a climbing wall, swings, a slide, and lots of things to climb. Delhi Metropark also features a large playground that kids will enjoy.

W I N T E R S P O R T SCROSS- COUN TRY SK I INGHUDSON MILL SEnjoy six miles of classical groomed trails. The trails have varied terrain and accommodate all skill levels. Ski rental is available on weekends at the Activity Center and o� ers a heated lounge, ski rental, and public restrooms.

The Hudson Mills Metropark Interpretive program is based out of the Activity Center. A variety of nature and history programs which highlight the Hudson Mills area are held throughout the year.

N A T U R E T R A I LThe Acorn Nature Trail provides you with an opportunity to observe wildlife and plants in their various habitats.

A few resident species that can be seen in the park include pileated woodpecker, sandhillcrane, and red and gray fox.

on trails. • Running, jogging, bicycles, pets,

motorized vehicles, and horses are not permitted on the nature trails.

• Picnicking is not allowed within the nature trails area.

S P E C I A L E V E N T SThe interpreters invite you to participate in nature walks, special events, and programs. These are o� ered periodically throughout the year. Schools, scouts, and community groups events can be arranged.
