A.GENERAL

1.INDIVIDUALCOMPETITION1.1 Trampolinecompetitionscomprisethree(3)routineswithten(10)elementsineachroutine.

1.1.1 Aroutineonthetrampolineischaracterisedbyhigh,continuousrhythmicfeettofeetandfeettoback,frontorseatrotationaljumpingelements,withouthesitationorintermediatestraightbounces.

1.1.2 Atrampolineroutineshouldbeplannedtodemonstrateavarietyofforwardandbackwardtwistingornontwistingelements.Theroutineshouldshowgoodform,execution,height,maintenanceofheightandopeninginallelementstodemonstrateperfectcontrolofthebodyduringtheflyingphase.

1.2 QualifyingRound1.2.1 There are two (2) routines in the Qualifying Round. The first routine includes special

requirementsasper§5.1.1;thesecondisavoluntaryroutineasper§5.1.3.1.2.1.1 Federations are free to prescribe a compulsory routine instead of the first

routineforcompetitionsundertheirauthority.Seealso§16.1.10.1.2.2* Thestartingorder for theQualifyingRound isdecidedbyadraw.Thegymnastswillbe

dividedintogroupsofnomorethansixteen(16)pergroup,witheachgroupperformingtheirfirstandsecondroutinespriortothenextgroupstartingtheQualifyingRound.

1.3 Finals

1.3.1 Thereisone(1)voluntaryroutineintheFinalasper§5.1.3.1.3.2 Thegymnasts(thepairsinsynchronisedcompetition)withtheeight(8)bestscoresfrom

the Qualifying Round will go forward to the Final. See also Reg. 1 of the TechnicalRegulationsSection4.1.3.2.1 At FIG events only two (2) gymnasts and one (1) synchro pair per member

federationmay compete in the Final (see Reg. 4.3.1.2 of TR, Section 4). ThegymnastsstarttheFinalwithascoreofzero.

1.3.3 ThestartingorderfortheFinalwillbeinorderofmerit,thegymnastwiththelowestscoreintheQualifyingRoundgoingfirst.Intheeventofties,seeReg.4.4.1ofTR,Section4.



2.TEAMCOMPETITION2.1 Ateamcomprisesaminimumofthree(3)andamaximumoffour(4)gymnastsperevent(men’sor

women’scompetition).2.2 Everymemberoftheteamwillperformtwo(2)routinesasper§1.2.1andone(1)routineasper

§1.3.1.2.2.1 AtWorldChampionshipsRound1oftheQualifyingRoundactsasqualificationfortheTeam

2.3 Systemofscoring

2.3.1 Theteamscoreforeachroutinewillbethesumofthethree(3)highestscoresobtainedbythemembersoftheteamineachroutine.2.3.1.1 AtWorld Championships the five (5) highest placed teams in the Qualifying

RoundqualifyfortheTeamFinal.IntheTeamFinalallthree(3)scoreswillcount.TheteamsstarttheFinalwithascoreofzero.SeealsoReg.4.3.1.2ofTR,Section4.

3.SYNCHRONISEDCOMPETITION3.1 Asynchronisedpairconsistsoftwo(2)womenortwo(2)men.3.2 Agymnastmayonlycompeteinone(1)synchronisedpair.3.3 SynchronisedcompetitionswillconsistofaQualifyingRoundandaFinalasper§1.3.4 Partnersmustdothesameelementatthesametime(seealso§16.1.9.1)andmuststartfacingin

thesamedirection.Twistsdonotneedtobeinthesamedirection.

4.WINNER4.1 Thewinneristhegymnast,pairorteamwiththehighestnumberofpointsobtainedintheFinal.4.2 MedalsandplaceswillbeawardedaccordingtoReg.9.3ofTR,Section1.

5.ROUTINES5.1 Eachroutineconsistsoften(10)elements.

5.1.1 The first routine in the Qualifying Round includes both free elements and specialrequirements.Theorderinwhichtheelementsareperformedisatthediscretionofthegymnast (see §7.3 and the exceptions in §1.2.1.1). Only the execution score plus thehorizontal displacementand the timeof flight of this routineare counted, for (see theexceptionsin§5.3).

5.1.2 Changes to the special requirements will be published by the Trampoline TechnicalCommittee(TRA-TC)throughtheFIGOfficeatleastone(1)yearaheadofthenextWorldChampionshipsandwillbevalidfromthe1stofJanuaryoftheyearoftheseChampionships.

5.1.3 Thesecondroutineand theFinal routinearevoluntaryroutines inwhich theexecutionscoreplus thehorizontaldisplacementandthetimeof flightareaddedto thedifficultyscoretogivethetotalforaroutine.(atWorldChampionshipstheroutineintheSecondRoundofQualificationisalsoavoluntaryroutine).

5.2 Secondattemptsatroutinesarenotallowed.



5.2.1 Ifagymnastisobviouslydisturbedinaroutine(faultyequipmentorsubstantialexternalinfluenceorthelike),theChairofJudges’Panelmayallowanotherattempt.Agymnast'sclothingcannotbeclassedas“equipment”.

5.2.2 Spectatornoise,applauseandthelikewouldnotnormallyconstituteadisturbance.5.3 AtFIGevents,inadditionto§1.2,§5.1.1,§5.1.2and§5.1.3furtherrequirementsmustbefulfilledin

theroutinesintheQualifyingRound:5.3.1 The first routine in theQualifyingRound includes elementswith countingdifficulty. The

difficultyoftheseelementswillbeaddedtotheexecutionscore.ThenumberofelementswillbesetbytheTRA-TC(see§5.1.2).

5.3.2 Inthesecondroutinenoneoftheelementsalreadycountedfordifficultyinthefirstroutinecan be repeated, otherwise the difficulty of those elements will not be considered forcalculation(see§15.4)inthesecondroutine.

5.4 InSemi-FinalandinFinalanyelementsfromthefirstandsecondroutinescanberepeated.

6.DRESSFORGYMNASTSANDSPOTTERS*6.1 Malegymnasts

6.3 The wearing of jewellery or watches is not permitted during the competition. Rings withoutgemstonesmaybeworniftheyaretaped.Bandagesorsupportpiecesmustnotcreatebigcontrastwiththeskincolour.Underwearmustnotbevisible.

6.4Anyviolationof§6.1,§6.2and§6.3mayresult inapenaltyof0.2pointsappliedbytheChairofJudges'Panel,whichwillbedeductedfromthetotalscoreofanyoftheroutineswheretheviolationoccurs.Majorviolationmayresultindisqualificationfromtheroundinwhichtheoffenceoccurs.ThisdecisionismadebytheChairofJudges'Panel.

6.5*TeamsMembersofa teamorasynchronisedpairmustwear thesameuniform, identical incolouranddesign.Failingtodosomayresultindisqualificationoftheteamorsynchronisedpairfromtheteamorsynchronisedevent.ThisdecisionismadebytheChairofJudgesPanel.

6.6NationalIdentificationorFederationemblemAtFIGeventsnationalidentificationoremblemhastobeworn,(thismustadheretotheFIGRulesforClothing&Publicity)otherwisetherewillbeapenaltyof0.2pointsappliedbytheChairofJudges'Panel,whichwillbedeductedfromthetotalscoreofanyoftheroutineswheretheviolationoccurred.

6.7 Spotters Tracksuitandgymshoesorequivalent.

7.COMPETITIONCARDS7.1 Theelementsofthefirstroutinemustbewrittendownonthecompetitioncard.Eachoftherequired

elements(see§5.1.1and§5.3.1)mustbemarkedwithanasterisk(*).Theelementsofthesecondroutinemustalsobewrittendownonthecompetitioncardwiththedifficultyvalueofeachelement.



7.1.1 AtFIGevents,onlytheFIGnumericsystemmaybeusedtodescribetheelementswrittenonthecompetitioncard,otherwisethecardwillnotbeaccepted(seePartIII:IandK).

7.2 Thecompetitioncardmustbehandedinatthetimeandplacespecifiedbytheorganisingcommittee,otherwisethegymnastmaynotbeallowedtostart.TheChiefRecorderisresponsibleforensuringthattheyaregiventotheDifficultyJudgesatleasttwo(2)hoursbeforethecompetitionstarts.

7.3 Inthefirstroutine,thegymnastshouldexecutetheelementsaswrittenonthecompetitioncard.Anymissingrequiredelements(s)or requirement(s)will result inapenaltyof2.0points foreachmissingrequiredelement/requirement,bytheDifficultyJudges(see§22.3). SuchchangeswillberecordedonthecompetitioncardbytheDifficultyJudges.7.3.1 In theevent that a compulsory routine is used insteadof a first voluntary routine, any

changewillbejudgedasaninterruptionasper§16.1.10.7.4 Inallvoluntaryroutines,changestotheelementsandtheorderinwhichtheyarewrittenonthe

competitioncardarepermittedwithoutpenalty.

B.COMPETITIONPROCEDURE

12.WARMINGUP12.1 Theequipmentselectedforthecompetitionmustbeplacedinthecompetitionhallatleasttwo(2)

hourspriortothestartofthecompetitiontoenablethegymnaststowarmuponthecompetitionapparatus(seealsoReg.4.11.7c)ofTR,Section1).

12.2 Immediatelyprior to theQualifyingRoundandtheFinalseachgymnastwillbeallowed(max)30secondswarm-uponthecompetitionapparatus.Intheeventthatagymnastabusesthistimelimit,theChairofJudges'Panelwilldeductapenaltyof0.3pointsfromthetotalscoreofthefollowingroutine(see§20.13).12.2.1 Warming up on the competition equipment during the actual competition may be

eliminated if equivalent equipment is provided in an adjacent hall of at least eight (8)metresinheight.

13.STARTOFAROUTINE13.1 EachgymnastwillstartonasignalgivenbytheChairofJudges'Panel.13.2 Afterthesignalhasbeengiven(asper§13.1),thegymnastmustinitiatethefirstelementwithinone

(1)minute,otherwisetherewillbeapenaltyfromtheChairofJudges'Panelasfollows(see§20.13):§ 61seconds: 0.2pts§ 91seconds: 0.4pts§ 121seconds: 0.6pts§ 181seconds: the gymnast will not be allowed to start the routine, no score will be awardedandadesignationof"DidNotStart(DNS)"willbegiven

Ifthistimelimitisexceededasaresultoffaultyequipmentorothersubstantialcause,nodeductionwillbeapplied.ThisdecisionismadebytheChairofJudges'Panel.

The Reference Judges’ System (RJS) has been introduced to establish an automatic and time-savingcorrectionsystemincaseofproblemswithE-andA-Scores.TheFIG’sdecisiontointroduceR-Judgescomesin an effort to uphold greater sport justice in competition. By creating a control body completelyindependentofthetraditionaljudges’panel,theFIGintendstocorrectanyunintentionalorintentionalseveremistakes.

1. Principles

§ InArtisticGymnasticstheR-JudgeswillbeusedforExecution.TheR-Judges(2perjury)willjudgeallapparatusinallpartsoftherespectivecompetitions(C-I,C-II,C-IIIandC-IV;whereapplicable).

§ InRhythmicGymnasticstheR-JudgeswillbeusedforExecutionandDifficulty.TheR-Judges(2perJury)will judge all apparatus in all parts of the respective competitions (C-I, C-II and C-IIIwhereapplicable)forindividualsandforgroups.

§ InTrampolineGymnastics(alldisciplines)therearenoR-Judges.
