German tech start-up Digital Masterpieces released its new free app “ArtCard by BeCasso” today. ArtCard transforms snaps and photos into wintry sceneries and frosty portraits in preparation for the upcoming season. Just in time for the holidays, the app offers an integrated service to send the best results as a postcard to anyone in the world for just $1.99.
Holiday season, but still not in the mood? ArtCard by BeCasso will change that. The new iPhone app by Digital Masterpieces offers 29 new photo effects that embrace the upcoming season, featuring winter, snow, and the holidays. This includes wintry styles from famous artists like van Gogh, Picasso and Munch, as well as other, extraordinary Christmas-inspired effects—and all of that for free!
As a plus, users get the opportunity to send a printed version of their masterpieces as a postcard for a small price. Users can upload their results and send them as a holiday or greeting card to family and friends worldwide. A postcard costs 1.99 € / $1.99. To offer this integrated service, Digital Masterpieces teamed up with MyPostcard (www.mypostcard.com).
The powerful combination of artificial intelligence, neural networks, and modern art style filters allows to create breathtaking results in high resolution. Users can watch their photos convert instantly, as all magic is happening on the device in real-time. No internet connection is required.
ArtCard’s technology is based on BeCasso, a successful photo app by Digital Masterpieces that was released in July 2016.
