Some brides prefer to do formal photo-graphs before the ceremony if they do a first look- when the bride & groom see each other before the ceremony in a special way. Doing a first-look allows you to have an intimate moment with your fiancé, for him to have the chance toto tell you how incredible you look, for you to get formal photographs done before the ceremony so afterwords your schedule can be more free & open to spending time with friends & family who traveled far to your wedding. Scheduling a first-look is an ADDED momentmoment to the most important day of your life, it doesn’t retract from the meaning of walking down the aisle.

It’s purely a personal choice whether you wish to stay traditional or have a first-look, but many first-look brides & grooms both say they had just as much excitement and anticipation walking down the aisle as they would have otherwise- and are so happy their wedding day timeline was more free & lessless stressed. We make our first-looks very special & private. We have never had a couple do a first-look and regret it later, they have always been so thankful that an extra moment of significance was added to their day, that they had more time together, & that their timeline was freed up to visit with friends & family later on. with friends & family later on.

TheThe engagement session is our ‘rehearsal’- it’s where you really get to know me & I really get to know you. I get to see how you guys love on each other, what your style is, & start breaking the ice between you & the camera. Not all of us have been photographed a ton since our senior portraits. And lets face it, photography has changed allot since then. I want to capture you- as you reallyreally are, something called ‘lifestyle photography’. We don’t want to be breaking the ice during your wedding day- you want to be fully comfortable with me & the camera. I want it to feel like I’m just an old friend who happens to have a camera & is going to follow you around while we are all laughing & having fun on the best day of your life. During the session I will be able to getget the feel for your style- are you silly & wild? Soft & sentimental? These are things I want to know before the rush of the wedding day so I can be completely prepared to capture exactly the images you dreamed of. 

A Photo Tip :

When planning for the big day, remember

to include fun accessories! Your shoes,

jewelry, flowers, and decor will make your

wedding pictures that much more memo-

rable. The more unique, the better!
