Exchange Clubs’ 2nd Annual Sangria Showdown fundraiser will select best sangria in the areaBRADENTON, FL – Who slings the best sangria on the sun coast? Taste testers will decide at a chic and fun fundraiser to benefit the Family Partnership Center.
The 2nd Annual Sangria Showdown will be September 16th from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Renaissance on 9th located at 1816 9th Street West in Bradenton. Admission is $25 and proceeds will benefit the Family Partnership Center. Tickets are available online.
A panel of local judges will select the best red, white and custom sangria. There will also be a peoples’ choice winner. Katrina Bellemare, FPC’s Executive Director said last year there are 10 entries (Including Sandbar, Bonefish Grill, Riverside Waterfront, and Mi Pueblo) This year we expect more restaurants to come ready to pit their secret sangria recipes against the others.
“This is going to be a exciting event that we think people are going to love,” Bellemare said. “We’re hoping restaurant owners will challenge each other to be a part of the contest. It’s a great way to not only publicize your restaurant and have the public sample your sangria, there’s an underlying benefit of a fundraiser for a great cause.”

The 3 local Exchange Clubs are hosting this incredible event. The Exchange Clubs in Manatee and Sarasota Counties are civic minded business networking groups chartered by the National Exchange Club, the oldest service club in America! Their national project is child abuse prevention and locally these clubs not only help each other’s businesses, they cofounded and generously support Family Partnership Center.
Family Partnership Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving families in Manatee and Sarasota counties by offering in-home parenting services, community-based groups, classes and workshops. FPC delivers programs that foster the effective parenting of children and youth. Its programs are free to parents and caregivers and are offered daytime and evenings, many with free childcare.
