President’s Message
It’s hard to believe the year is almost over. It has been a very busy one for many and will hopefully continue until the end. Now that November is here I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! Spending quality time with friends and family is important all year but especially during the holidays. I hope you all can take that time and enjoy. If anyone knows of someone in need during the holidays please let us know as there are many companies and individuals that would be willing to contribute to others so everyone can have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you to our members who took the time to attend the Professional Standards training this past week. I hope you found value in the course and enjoyed the interactive format. It is essential to our entire membership to have enough people with this training when the needs arise so please know that it is truly appreciated! We could still use more volunteers for Making Spirits Bright on November 26
th.
If we can get enough people everyone would only need to do about 2 hours instead of 4. Please give Jackie a call if you would be willing to help out with this. Participating in these community events really helps to promote a positive Realtor image in the areas we serve. Please note: The Holiday open house (soup/chili cook-off) is December 6th. The location has changed to the Deland Community Center this year so we will have more room to move around and visit with each other. We will be accepting donations for the Salvation Army to help stock their shelves (food or cash are appreciated). Looking forward to seeing everyone! Last but certainly not least…please remember that your continuing education and license renewals are due by December 14

The Sheboygan County Board of REALTORS® will be offering the video classes on the following dates:

COST: $20.00 for SCBR Realtor/Affiliate Member $45.00 for Non SCBR Members
* Additional $10.00 “at door” registration

Each course fulfills a portion of your Real Estate License continuing Education requirement for 2015-2016.
New licensees: There will no longer be an exemption for newly licensed people from the continuing education requirement
during the biennium they first receive their license.
There will be a closed book exam after the course. You must receive a 70% score or better.
Your certification of completion will be e-mailed within two weeks after the date of the course and it is your responsibility to
retain these certificates in case of Department of Safety and Professional Services audits.

2. Select Dec. 2 and the shift time preferred
3. Select "Reserve"
4. Register as a new volunteer by entering your contact information and then select "Submit to Register"
5. The last step is where you can select "Sheboygan County Board Realtor" from the drop down menu to associate yourself with the group and ensure proper signs placed at the kettle that day.
