At CHHS Pat was Chieftain Princess and Jack became her high school sweetheart. They both attended A&M, and Jack went to OU before entering his family furniture business. They were married in 1954 and within a few years formed their Suburban Furniture business which continues today, with four generations of their family being involved. Among their community service projects, Jack and Pat have supported CHHS with the robotics program and the landscaping improvements to the boulevard, giving their time, energy, and funding.
