New Incentives

‐For manufacturers who create 25+ new jobs and invest $5M+.• 2015  ‐ Water and Sewer Capacity for Frederick County Businesses

‐ Water and Sewer Capacity Leases for certain manufacturing facilities in lieu of purchasing the capacity for a term of no more than 20 years.‐ Water and Sewer Capacity Fee Payment Plan Fund (PPF) – may be used to provide loans to certain commercial water and/or wastewater customers to purchase capacity fees for new construction or expansion. It allows the property owner to spread out the payment of the Capacity Fees over a max term of 10 years.

• 2015 No Business Personal Property Tax Phase‐Out in the City of Frederick

‐10‐year phase out. No business personal property tax for manufacturers.‐ County does not have business personal property tax.
