It’s very important that all club coaches, trainers and all players know the rules and their weight divisions. This is for the safety of all players and for the contest to run on time without delays. Players from other federation’s / associations are welcome to compete & must provide rego from their club and other codes. All players must complete the wavier. Closing DATE: Referrer to the AKJA contest information Shops/ Food: There are plenty of shops and parking. We will have full canteen facilities. For meals/ lunch or dinner it’s suggested the Tennis Club or Bowling Club both 5 min walk (view attached map). Site Seeing. Wollongong is a huge city with plenty of shops and great beaches all just 5 min drive from contest or 10 min on the free bus service. I have also included a map of the Symbio Zoo, 35 min drive from the venue. Very cost efficient for family’s staying here - a must to see. (Info Sheet Attached) Entry Cost: All players are to pay via national body. Club coaches are responsible for sending payment and entry forms. Coaches are required to write down the extra division a player is entering in and the fee. Spectator’s Entry: This will be with wrist bands with different colours for different days. SHOPPING IN WOLLONGONG. Just a 10 minute walk from one of the most iconic beaches in Australia, Wollongong Central shopping centre cannot be missed when visiting the South Coast West Keira (Building 1) is situated on the corner of Keira Street and Crown Street and has three main floors. It joins to North Building via an underground pathway and pedestrian bridge. Lower ground floor contains Coles and the first floor contains Target and JB Hi‐Fi. The building also contains cafes and restaurants outside along Keira Street. 

North Building (Building 2, formerly Crown Central) has two main floors, and unlike South Building is at street level to Crown Street Mall. The ground floor features part of the David Jones department store, and the first floor features mini‐major, Best & Less clothing store. The main premises of the David Jones department store is in a separate building (not part of Wollongong Central) which connects to the eastern end of Wollongong Central's North building via a pedestrian bridge over Crown Street Mall.

South Building (Building 3, formerly Crown Gateway) has three main floors. Mini‐major Rebel Sport occupies part of the bottom level, which opens to Burelli Street to the south at ground level. The upper two levels are primarily accessed from Crown Street Mall and predominantly contain specialty stores, fashion outlets, and cafes. Myer occupies all three levels. A pedestrian bridge links South Building to North Building. There is also a pedestrian bridge linking South Building to Club Lime and a carpark.

The Sea Cliff Bridge is a balanced cantilever bridge located in the northern Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The $52 million bridge links the coastal villages of Coalcliff and Clifton

Mount Keira forms part of the Illawarra escarpment which it joins by a high saddle on the back (western) side. It is capped by a westward sloping plateau of relatively hard sandstone ringed on the remaining 3 sides by cliffs. From the cliff base the mountain slopes down to the surrounding foothills and coastal plain. From Wollongong the mountain looks rather flat topped; while from the north it appears part of the escarpment. The majority of the mountain is forested with eucalypt (sclerophyll) forest and 

sub‐tropical rainforest, while civilization encroaches on the lower slopes. Surrounding suburbs are (from north to south): Balgownie, Mount Pleasant; Mount Ousley; Keiraville; West Wollongong; Figtree and Mount Kembla. 

Symbio Wildlife Park is a zoo situated in Helensburgh, New South Wales, Australia. It was founded in 1975. If it's a wildlife experience you are after, from seeing a rare Sumatran tiger feeding, cuddling up to a koala or hand feeding a kangaroo ‐ Symbio really does get you closer!   Enjoy the many shows and demonstrations that are given throughout each day, enabling you the chance to get up close and personal with Symbio's wildlife. To add to the experience, they have just opened a koala breeding sanctuary, and their brand new, state of the art reptile house, featuring 24 exhibits and housing many of the worlds most amazing reptiles,
