We encourage each visitor to leave a comment on the " Visitor's Log" at each exhibit Judaic Studies - Sacred Spaces In conjuncon with the Janterm projects, Jewish Studies classes integrated architecture into the curriculum in several ways. Using the concept of “Makom Kadosh” (sacred space) as a springboard, students explored texts from Rambam (Maimonides) and other sources to determine the uniquely Jewish prescripon for creang prayer space, and composed their own designs or blueprints. In addion, students wrote personal reflecons about what con- stutes a “Makom Kadosh,” considering both form and funcon, as well as a place’s history and the people them- selves who imbue it with holiness.
