2015 Overview-Healthy Horizons The purpose is to promote healthy living by providing a comprehensive and confidential wellness package to Butler faculty and staff and now expanding to your spouse or domestic partner. •  Participants in Physical Activity, Rewards, Financial Wellness & Stress Reduction

–  Health Screening (cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose, weight assessment) –  Health Risk Assessment –  Personalized Action Plan with Health Goals

Health Care Reform 1/1/2016?

Employer Reporting of Health Coverage •  Employers with 50 or more employees will be

required to provide information to the IRS and employees about the health plan coverage they offer to their employees in 2015.

•  Employers will be required to provide health care benefits to certain part-time employees that qualify under new Health Care Reform guidelines. (Form 1095-C)

–  Eliminate Buy-Up; Maintain Plus, Core, and CDHP

•  Decrease CDHP Family Out-of-Pocket Maximum from $8,000 to $6,850 to meet Health Care Reform requirement.

•  Same-Sex Domestic Partner Access –  Same-sex Domestic Partner Participants currently enrolled

in the health plans will continue to be covered as unmarried domestic partners.

–  Effective January 1, 2016 health plan access available to employees, spouses, and qualified dependents.
