TALL BEARDED IRIS Tall Bearded Iris are known as the “Orchid” of the perennial world. They provide a stunning splash of color in the

garden from May through June. Ideal for cutting and arranging. USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8.

CULTURE: Full sun and well-drained soil are essential. Regular fertilization with Plant-tone is suggested as Iris are heavy feeders. When planting, the top of the iris rhizome should barely show at the soil surface. Space 12"-18" apart. Do not cover with mulch. You may divide Iris between June and October, but cut the foliage back.

During fall clean-up, cut the foliage back and burn it to prevent spread of disease.
