10.1 ­ Required Information & Samples How we constructed the canoe

At least 20 pictures and descriptions that illustrate the process of the design, research and development (mixture and construction techniques), planning, and physical construction of the mold and concrete canoe

Samples of concrete aggregate (both individual & composite blend) Concrete cylinder (at least 1) Raw reinforcement sample (at least 1) One copy of Design Paper (Section 6) One copy of Engineer’s Notebook (Section 7) Bill of Materials & Production Cost Estimate (Ex: Table 10.1)

Name, Quantity, Unit Price, Total cost of each material used for construction

Should include binding material(s), aggregate(s), admixture(s), fiber(s), reinforcement, sealers, flotation material, and lettering

Lump sum for mold; make note indicating what materials the cost covered; detailed itemization should not be provided

Costs associated with engineering, testing, construction (labor & equipment) should not be included in cost of materials or as a separate item

Safety analysis of one task performed during construction of canoe (Appendix D) Will need to bring seat mats for measurement check but does not have to be part

of display 10.2 ­ Restrictions

Display needs to be self­supporting, but can be secured to table No electronic items No sponsor­related items (i.e. logos, sponsor list) All portions of the display must fit within theoretical box (Section 10.0) No portion of display should be under the table except tablecloth

10.3 ­ Scoring Aesthetics score accounts for 30% of Final Product score
