CHECK ELIGIBILITY1. Either to be registered in a diploma program at Sabancı University or fulfill the minimum
credit requirement to make major declaration before the start of his/her exchange period.2. If you are an undergraduate student, willing to obtain minimum credit requirement for
declaration before the start of your exchange period, you are more than welcome to apply.3. Language proficiency on the language of instruction of the host institution. 4. Minimum overall GPA requirement for undergraduate students is: 2.2 (by the time of
application) & minimum overall GPA requirement for postgraduate students is 2.5 (by the time of application).
5. No balance or responsibilities due to Sabancı University.6. (For Erasmus applications only) If you have benefited from Erasmus (student mobility or
placement) before, you should make sure that the total length of mobility at each level (undergraduate or graduate) - no matter the type of mobility – should not exceed 12 months.
7. Students who has disciplinary suspension during the term they are supposed to be an exchange student.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE TO .... Check the "entry requirements" of the host institution you're planning to apply for. After
placements there will be an application procedure and you must get an acceptance letter from the host institution you've been placed. In order to be able to get acceptance, you must fulfill "entry requirements".

DURING APPLICATION
• UNDERGRADUATE students: Complete online form + Upload Financial Commitment form to the online system
• GRADUATE students: Complete online form + Upload Financial Commitment form to the online system + Upload your submitted TOEFL/IELTS score
EVALUATION• For both undergraduate & post graduate students: %50 of the total point, which will be
used for placement will come from the overall GPA score by the application time.• For undergraduate students only: English language score will be calculated by (ENG 101 x
0,4) + (ENG 102 x 0,6) and will be considered as the other %50 of your total point, which will be used for the placement. English Proficiency Coefficients
• Important note for undergraduate students only: Students, who do not have ENG 102 score at the time of the application, will be assessed as if they attained grade "C" from ENG 102.
• For post graduate students only: Your submitted TOEFL/IELTS score will be considered as the other %50 of your total point, which will be used for the placement.
• Students who have benefited from Exchange (Erasmus or Erasmus placement or Bilateral Exchange or applied to Erasmus placement at the time of his/her exchange application) before will receive minus 10 point for each mobility within the same levels.

PLACEMENT
• Check your e-mails regularly!• Announcements of results• 2 days for last confirmation for placements!!! Students do not confirm their placement, will loose their places, they will receive -10 pnts during late call applications.!!! Students who cannot be placed have a chance to apply for late calls. Be in touch with IRO!
ATTENTION !
• Set your priorities and make your preferences• Choose partners where you can find suitable courses• Pay attention to visa procedures/fees of some countries• For FENS student s —> Graduation Project • No SU monthly stipend for graduate students on the exchange period• Some partners may have their own requirements (such as min GPA, being a
Junior student, language certificate, specified major) • Check Free Slot List, web pages of the host institution, IRO web pages • Some partners have Fall and Spring quota separately ! (Don’t choose the Fall
term to apply for the university which has only Spring quota)• For some partners, we have more than one field agreement ! Select the right
agreement while filling out the application form• Make your application before THE DEADLINE !!!! Not on the LASY DAY!• Check FREE SLOT LISTS frequently. It is being updated !!
