Something Bold is Happening!

The School of Arts and Enterprise 2016/2017 Performing Arts Season Something Bold is Happening!2

Dear Families, Students and Friends,

As The School of Arts and Enterprise (The SAE) continues to grow and enrich the lives of our

students, we see new moments and opportunities for continued learning beyond the classroom.

Each year, our Performing Arts Season is a shining example of our promise to create lifelong

learners with a passion for the arts. This extensive commitment to the performing arts showcases

the best of The SAE and the best of our students and teachers -- who bring their limitless joy,

passion and talents to these vibrant performances.

From Broadway musicals, concerts, arts festivals, dance performances, classic plays and film

festivals, The SAE’s Performing Arts Season is the most extensive

of its kind in California. And the 2016-2017 season promises to be better than ever.

All 6th-12th grade students will be given opportunities to showcase their talents and shine on

stages and venues throughout the San Gabriel Valley. We are also proud to continue and expand

our school wide goal of making the arts accessible for our families and the community. Two

great examples are our Free Professional Shakespeare partnership with The Southern California

Shakespeare Festival and our Free Theatre for Young Audiences programs. Over the course of the

2016-17 Performing Arts Season, The SAE will give away over 3,000 free tickets to our performing

arts events, allowing students and families to experience the unique power and excitement of live

performances.

Thank you for your support of all of our amazing student artists.

See you at the Theatre!
