The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre and The College of Intuitive Studies are proud to announce that internationally renowned Spiritual
Teacher & Psychic Medium Gordon Smith will be once again presenting his Foundation Course, here, in Edinburgh, in 2015.
The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre has been chosen as the only Scottish Venue to host this prestigious training programme and
following the success of the 2014 programme, we are delighted to announce dates for a new intake of students for the new class of
2015! The first weekend will take place on Saturday and Sunday 28th February & 1st of March. Places are limited and are fi lling
fast.
Gordon, on creating this innovative programme says, “whilst I deliver various training courses throughout the UK and abroad,
because I have to travel so much these courses have tended to be stand-alone, one-offs - and this has frustrated me, for as most
students of psychic and mediumistic studies will know, this subject requires a more consistent, cumulative approach. So, I’ve created
my College of Intuitive Studies which offers a modular-based training programme, that delivers both consistency of approach and
allows the student to clearly assess their own progress as each module builds on the learning from the previous one.”
Gordon’s Foundation Course is open to all levels of students and is the beginning of his 4 module-training program that he has
specifically designed and teaches to students all over the world. Presented by Gordon and assistant teacher Steven Levett students
participating in the course will gain a much better understanding in the subjects of Mediumship, Spiritual Self-awareness and Healing.
As this course is heavily focused on a number of practical exercises that will assist the student in their development, students will be

The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre is delighted to welcome back the
ever popular Tony Stockwell, one of the UK’s most respected mediums.
An internationally renowned medium, tutor and author, having
appeared in numerous TV shows, including his own, this year
Tony returns to Edinburgh to brings us his new course. This is
part of his Path to Mediumship series which gets right to the
heart of the matter with a series of exercises for development
aimed at those working the platform and doing private sittings.
In this 3 day workshop we will cover exercises and techniques
that you can use in your mediumship that can be called upon to
help stimulate and bring through evidence and detailed commu-
nications from the Spirit World. (This is not for the beginner).

David Bruton, Lynn Probert, Steven Levett The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre is proud to present 3 new faces to add to our line up of top quality tutors and mediums who will be
joining us in 2015. This year we are delighted to welcome the President of the Spiritualist National Union, Minister, David Bruton;
International Tutor and Medium, Lynn Probert, who regularly works with Tony Stockwell and Gordon Smith’s protégé Steven Levett
who also travels internationally to conduct his own workshops on healing and trance healing. We welcome them all to our Centre and
hope you’ll enjoy some of these new courses.
David Bruton is, of course a medium in his own right, as well as being an excellent speaker, tutor and demonstrator with over
37 years experience in Spiritualism. He will be conducting a weekend workshop in September called, ‘A Message for Everyone’. It looks at the key skills of public presentation, drawing on our link with the spirit to enhance the construction of prayers, addresses, giving talks and other areas of public speaking. This course will be especially useful to anyone currently studying the PAS Scheme, or CSNU or DSNU qualifications, as well as anyone who is required or aspires to give public talks within Spiritualism or in the wider world.
The Course takes place on 19th and 20th September, from 10am - 5pm both days. The course programme discusses and develops the ‘theory’ on the Saturday as it encompasses the theory of giving philosophy and public speaking and gives tips and advice on handling the nerves when giving a public address, working with an audience or congregation etc. The Sunday is the day when the theory is put into practice not only by the delegates but by the tutor too, as the programme will incorporate the Sunday Service which David will be conducting. This has been specially arranged to allow delegates to see the theory put into practice, followed by the opportunity to assess and analyse the performance based on the training given the day before! David really puts himself on the line here! Steven Levett is a young medium who has been working for over 10 years now with Gordon Smith, helping run his
workshops and courses both in the UK and abroad. Stephen has carefully honed his skills under Gordon’s watchful eye and has
developed into a powerful Trance Healer, Spiritual Teacher and Medium, such, that he is now undertaking his own courses and
workshops which he conducts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden and Denmark as well as the UK. We have been fortunate to

Lynn Probert is a working Psychic Medium based in the UK but also working Internationally, including Europe, Middle

Dr Desmond Ryan, is an Honorary Fellow in the School of Health and Social Science, Edinburgh Uni-

examining educational, religious, health and social care institutions in Scotland, England, Italy,
