IELI STUDENT ACTIVITIES
PRE-REGISTRATION If you pre-registered last week, but your plans
changed, you must update your form. Please go to the
IELI main office (SYMR 204) to update your pre-registration
form.
Lunch Craft Time: On Tuesday, July 7 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in
SYMR 260, join IELI and your classmates for a fun and creative
break from classes. Well be making crafts and enjoying free
food!
Finals Preparation: On Thursday, July 9 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in
SYMR 260, join us for an hour of quiet study in the student lounge.
Healthy snacks will be provided!
IELI Summer Graduation: On Friday, July 17 from 11:30-1:00 p.m.
in SAGE 176, the summer graduation ceremony for level 6 students
will be taking place. Be sure to return the IELI graduation slip
(you will receive this in class) to SYMR 202 so we know who is
attending. This is a formal event, please dress accordingly. Please
arrive by 11:00 a.m. On behalf of the entire IELI staff,
congratulations!
HOUSING INFORMATION All students living in a campus dorm MUST
follow check-out procedures. If you dont follow procedures, you
will have to pay a fine. Your RA will give you detailed
information. If you decide to move out, you must go to Crumley Hall
and fill out paperwork. Are you planning to live on campus this
Fall? Submit your Fall 2015 housing application soon! Residence
halls fill up quickly. You must submit an application before moving
in to a residence hall. Go to housing.unt.edu for rates and to
submit your application.
CLASS TIME REQUESTS
All class time requests for the Fall I term must be submitted
between Thursday, July 2 Friday, July 10. Log on to ieli.unt.edu
with your EUID and password. When you complete the form, you must
submit documentation, such as an official work schedule, your EIS
class schedule, or an official letter from your childs school or
daycare to the IELI main office in SYMR 204.
FALL I TUITION Fall tuition payment of $3,250 is due by 3:00
p.m. by Friday, August 7. Students may begin payment on Tuesday,
July 14. If you would like to request a payment plan, you MUST go
to Alissa in SYMR 205 to set up an installment agreement before
August 7.
GRADE APPEAL
If you have a question about your final grade report, you can
sign up in the IELI Main Office (SYMR 204) for an appointment to
talk with the grade appeal panel. The panel will meet with you and
answer any questions that you might have.
The grade appeal panel will be held on Thursday, July 16 and
Friday, July 17 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in SYMR 201 D.
IELI IS MOVING! At the end of July 2015, IELI will move to
Marquis Hall. Marquis Hall is located on Mulberry Street and across
from the GAB. Our new room numbers are listed below. Phones numbers
will remain the same.
UNT EMAIL Remember, IELI and UNT send out emails with very
important information regularly. Please check your UNT email daily
at my.unt.edu or eagleconnect.unt.edu.
LAB NEWS Please return any items you checked out from the IELI
Lab (ex: movies, books) before July 10.
