A member of the Independent Jewelers

Organization, Koser Jewelers is the only

Master IJO Jeweler in the county and the

only Certified Master IJO Gem Lab with a

graduate gemologist on staff in the county. A

direct diamond importer, Randy Wolgemuth

travels to cutting factories in Antwerp to buy

diamonds directly from the cutters.

Koser’s has two goldsmiths in the store.

The staff at Koser use traditional and CAD

design, and offer a computerized design

center where customers can see the design

in various forms before they buy.

Manuel Torres brought a taste of his native

Peru to Pennsylvania when he opened his first

El Serrano restaurant in York County in 1987.

Seven years later, he brought that flavor to

Lancaster with a second location

on Columbia Avenue.

From the stone replica of a Mayan monolith

to the furnishings hand-carved from Peruvian

mahogany, El Serrano is a destination in and of

itself, transporting visitors to itsLatin American roots.

The restaurant specializes in authentic

Peruvian and Mexican dishes, as well as fajitas

and tapas – a variety of foods served on small

plates. Dinner and drink specials are available

on weekends.

El Serrano is actually three dining experi-

ences. The main restaurant, El Serrano, fea-

tures Latin American cuisine on the first floor.

On the second floor, Culturas serves a tapas

menu and Clementinas offers four exclusive

private dining rooms.

Culturas and Clementinas are open Fridays

and Saturdays.

El Serrano’s hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and

5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday,

11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and

11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
