2015 Papal Visit: St. Patrick’s Church Closures and Alternate Routes – September 24th, 2015

Closure Boundaries

Full closures will be in effect for several blocks in the vicinity of the St. Patrick’s Church.

o 9th Street NW will be closed between H Street and F Street.

o 10th Street NW will be closed between H Street and F Street.

o G Street NW will be closed between 11th Street and 8th Street.

o G Place NW will be closed between 10th Street and 9th Street.

Southbound 9th Street traffic is encouraged to divert onto eastbound K Street on the south side of Mt. Vernon Square. Traffic may then

proceed eastbound to Massachusetts Avenue and turn right onto 6th Street to continue southbound.

Local traffic reaching other closures surrounding the St. Patrick’s Church will be directed away from the closure by DDOT or MPD forces.
