Sign In as a Partner
1. Go to: https://www.mpnimpactawards.ca.
2. Enter your assigned credentials and click “Continue.” If you cannot locate your password, click “Forgot
Password.” If you do not have assigned credentials, click the “Create a New Profile” link.
Creating a New Profile
You must create a profile to access the Award Tool.
1. Enter your email address and desired password. Click “Continue” when finished.

1. Complete all fields of the “Create a New Profile” form. These fields will autopopulate for you when you
create a new nomination.
2. When finished, click “Continue.”
Agreeing to the Rules & Regulations
You must agree to the 2015 IMPACT Awards Rules and Regulations to proceed in the Award Tool. Please read
through carefully. Click “I agree to the Microsoft 2015 IMPACT Awards Rules and Regulations” button at the
bottom of the page to proceed.
Partner Dashboard
The dashboard is the Award Tool’s navigation page. Items under the green “Actions” bar are actions you can
start. Items under the orange “Actions” bar are actions you have previously begun and have saved or
completed (see the Status column to determine the progress of all nominations you have created).
1. Click the “+” icon next to “Create a New Nomination” to begin the judging process of one nomination.
2. Click the icon next to “My Profile” to view or edit your previously entered contact information.
Creating a New Nomination
1. Click on an award category in the menu to the left to begin a nomination for that category.
2. After reading the award description and eligibility information, click “Continue to Questions.”
Entering Nomination Information
The contact information you provided when creating a new Partner profile will autopopulate most fields.
1. Please fill out remaining fields (Nomination Title, CEO Name, Company Name and Attention).
2. Click “Continue to Nomination” when finished.
Editing Pre-Nomination Questions
To edit any of the contact information you inputted earlier, click the “Edit Pre-Nomination Questions” link at the top
of page.
Filling out a Nomination
Please read the instructions carefully and make sure to answer all questions asked. Please provide the
Customer Name and contact information for point of reference in the box provided underneath the questions.
Providing Supporting URLs
There is an area below the Customer Name box to provide a supporting URL to supplement your nomination.
1. Please type or paste your supporting URL into the box next to “Supporting URL.”
Uploading Supporting Docs
All questions have an area below to provide one or more supporting documents to supplement your nomination.
1. To upload one or more Supporting Documents, click the “Browse” button.

2. Choose “Browse” to find the file
you’d like to upload in the dialogue box
and press “Open.” You will see the your
file name appear in the box next to the
“Browse” and “Upload” buttons.
3. Click “Upload” to upload your file.

You will see your document appear underneath the “Browse” and “Upload” buttons. To upload another document,
click “Browse” and repeat the process.
To delete uploaded files, click the red X to the right of the file name.
Saving Your Nomination
When you are in the process of entering a nomination and would like to save it to edit or complete later, click
“Save as Draft.”
If you filled out all questions in your nomination and would like to submit, click “Save and Complete.”
Submitting Your Nomination
Upon clicking “Save and Complete,” a
Caution box will appear. Make sure you
have completely filled out your
nomination before clicking “Submit.” You
cannot edit your nomination after
submitting it. Press “Cancel” to return to
your nomination.
After clicking “Submit,” a
“Congratulations” box with an affirmation
that your nomination was successfully
submitted. Click “OK” to return to the
Partner Dashboard.
Viewing Nominations on the Partner Dashboard
You can view the status of your nomination(s) on your Partner Dashboard.
If a nomination has been saved as a draft, the status will show “In Progress.”
If a nomination has been successfully submitted, the status will show “Submitted.”
If a nomination has been deleted (by pressing the trash icon), the status will show “Deleted.”
Please note: after pressing “Save and Complete,” you cannot edit your nomination again. The pencil icon on
your Dashboard will become grayed out for all submitted nominations.
Exporting Excel and PDF Reports
To view your nomination(s) as an Excel report, click the “ “ icon.
To view your nomination(s) as a PDF report, click the “ “ icon.
