Simplicity from complexity

Australia currently has four operating LNG projects and there are six further projects under construction. The combined Australian oil and gas industry today is large and complex. It is connected into a global industry, and through those connections has access to the best in technology, science, knowledge and experience.

At the same time companies are working to deliver sustainable and efficient operations here in Australia in a cost-constrained world. In this challenging environment there is a need to make abundant technical expertise accessible to all stakeholders, and to collaborate to identify, share and implement simple, effective and efficient solutions to complex problems.

The 2015 APPEA Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Conference and HSR & OSR Forums will facilitate an industry-wide discussion between operators, contractors, industry groups, frontline personnel, technical experts and regulators on the future of HSE governance, performance and innovation; and explore how we can work collaboratively to identify simple solutions in what can be a seemingly increasingly complex operating environment.

The conference is the must-attend event for everybody involved in the industry, not just HSE professionals, and will include presentations on the latest research, science, technology, industry programs and practice and regulatory approaches that will enable the industry to collectively achieve excellence in health, safety and environmental performance. You will experience a world-class program of presentations, panel discussions, and key networking events.

FormatAs well as delivering an outstanding program, the conference will include an

exhibition offering industry members and service providers the opportunity to

showcase their products and services to key personnel in the industry.

Completely integrated with the conference program — which includes the

HSR & OSR Forums on 7 September — the exhibition offers maximum

exposure to delegates during the three-day event, in a professional and

interactive atmosphere.

Access to the exhibition is only available to registered delegates and speakers attending the

event. It is not open to the public.
