Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand citizens can stay for up to 90 days. Should you need a visa to travel to Korea, you will need to officially apply for your visa at the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence, providing a letter of invitation. The letter of invitation establishes the purpose of your trip to Korea and provides information on your proposed stay in Korea.

Obtaining a letter of invitation To obtain a letter of invitation from the APLA 2015 Secretariat, please request an invitation letter individually to APLA 2015 Secretariat with your scanned copy of passport atseoulapla2015@gmail.com

The APLA 2015 Secretariat will return a duly signed copy of your letter of invitation to you by e-mail. The signed letter of invitation that you receive must be presented to the Korean Embassy or Consulate where you apply for your visa. Please note that the letter of invitation does not substitute for a visa to travel to and enter Korea.

Please note that neither the APLA Association nor APLA 2015 Secretariat can be held responsible if visa applicants do not receive a visa in sufficient time to attend APLA 2015.
