Dear God,

I am not academically top of

my class, but I know my teach-

ers respect me for consistent,

reliable hard work and good

effort. I am not the star athlete,

but my teammates really seem

to appreciate my support and

effort, and I always have fun.

I’ve never had any major crisis

in my life or family, which I am

thankful for. And, I generally

really like my family. God, I

may not be anyone who

“stands out” for any one spe-

cial reason, but I know I make

a difference, in little ways, with

everyone I meet. Amen.
