The CTP helps compare content specific, curriculum-based performance to more conceptual knowledge found in reasoning tests. Attendance Reminder: The School will not allow its programs— including athletics and rehearsals—to be compromised by absences for reasons other than sickness. Dental and other medical appointments should be made so as not to interfere with school commitments. Requests for exceptions to this policy must be made in writing to the Dean of School as far in advance as possible. In general, the School will not excuse students for family and other trips while School is in session. In rare instances the School will consider excusing a student for very special reasons—such as a single special event like a confirmation or graduation— if the request is made well in advance in writing. In the case of missing athletics only, requests should be made to the Athletic Director in writing well in advance. Requests should not be made to individual coaches.
