and BoatU.S., co-sponsors of the national Leadership in Womens Sailing Award, selected Gail as

their 2002 recipient. The Award is given to a person (male or female) who has a record of

achievement in inspiring, educating and enriching the lives of women through sailing. In 2006 US

SAILING presented the SCYA Womens Sailing Convention their Community Sailing Program More

than 10 Years of Hallmark Performance Award.

She continues as a Director of the National Womens Sailing Association and served on the

Board of Directors of Recreational Boaters of California for 27 years (1981-2008), serving as its

President in 1994. Gail is a member of WORSA, US SAILING and owns her own advertising agency

and graphic design business in Murrieta (TeamWay Marketing & Design).
