Greetings!

On behalf of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Black Law Students Association (MABLSA), I would like to invite you to participate in the Annual MABLSA Job Fair. The 2014 MABLSA Job Fair & Leadership weekend of events start Friday, August 15, 2014 through Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Washington D.C. at The George Washington University’s Marvin Center.

This year, MABLSA’s regional theme is, “MABLSA Strong: United for Achievement and Progression.” We plan to help you, our members, effectuate these skills by offering very deliberate opportunities for you to excel academically and professionally.

Our weekend kicks off on Friday, August 15, 2014, with our “Cocktails for a Cause” reception providing you with an opportunity to engage with other members of NBLSA, as well as legal practitioners and job fair employer participants. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2014, and the evening will conclude with our “Welcome Back” social reception that will serve as the official start to our Leadership Retreat. The Leadership Retreat will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 and provides an opportunity for chapter leaders to meet the 2014-2015 MABLSA Regional Executive Board, learn about the regional theme “MABLSA Strong: United for Achievement and Progression” and the role chapters will play in the pursuit of this vision.

Please join us in our efforts to make this year’s theme a reality by attending our first official event for 2014-2015 and make this one of the most memorable job fair weekends MABLSA has had to date!

Enclosed in this packet you will find the following sections:(1) Student Registration Information(2) Important Dates & A Schedule of Events for Job Fair Weekend(3) Additional Information

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Our team is diligently working to ensure a phenomenal Job Fair and we look forward to seeing you all in Washington D.C. in August.
