The mission of Creative Action is to spark and support the academic, social and emotional development of young people.
Through interactive classroom performances, after school arts residencies and community-based programs, Creative Action’s team of professional Teaching Artists inspire youth to be creative artists, courageous allies, critical thinkers, and confident leaders in their community.
Join us for a huge Country Fair where everything will be BIG, not just the hair!
Nestled under the old pecan trees at the Salt Lick pavilion, we will dine on all you can eat BBQ with a flowing open bar complete with Deep Eddy Vodka. Guests will enjoy wild carnival games, a new hairdo (bouffants and beehives encouraged!), and photos in a vintage western photo booth. Try your luck in our cashbox filled with bills for the takin’. If you are so inclined, you can also take a ride on our mechanical bull and try to make it to 8 seconds. AND—we will be entertained all night long by the best boot scooting bands in Texas!
