PNEUMA TOOLSpneuma-tool.com - NORTH BAY, ON

Pneuma-Tool’s patented, inherently biodegradable rock drill lubricants provide superior lubrication protection to all mining equipment in temperature extremes from -50oC to +65oC, while minimally impacting environmentally sensitive landscapes. They are minimum quantity lubricants, meaning that they can be used at injection rates as low as 20% compared to conventional lubricants - less product to transport and store in remote sites. Water quality is not an issue either, as Pneuma-Tool’s polar formulas provide a tenacious barrier to water penetration, ensuring that corrosion problems are minimized. Equipment reliability, and extended service intervals means less downtime for repairs. Wear rates are significantly reduced. Pneuma-Tool lubricants have been proven to solve most of the problems associated with air-tool lubrication, by increasing tool service intervals, minimizing tool freeze-up, and resistance to wash out by water in compressed air. Oil fog is reduced or eliminated. Pneuma-Tool protects the health of miners’ lungs, reduces slip / fall hazards, improves visibility so that miners can work more productively, reduces ventilation requirements, and improves miners’ cleanliness and hygiene. Pneuma-Tool is proven to minimize oil fog at temperatures as high as 65oC.

TOWNSHIP OF JAMES / ELK LAKEelklake.ca - NORTHEASTERN ONTARIO

The historic resource community of Elk Lake was founded in 1906 with the discovery of silver by the legendary Jack Munroe. In addition to its own mines, it became a primary supply point for Matachewan, Gowganda and beyond to Shiningtree during their heyday as mining camps. Elk Lake then transitioned into a lumbering centre which it remains to this day. In true industry fashion with the rebirth of Matachewan, it has also again become a supplier of services to the mining industry both near and far through resident businesses supplying industrial maintenance requirements. Elk Lake also features a fully serviced industrial park for locating your business or industry in. Situated on the banks of the Montreal River where the Bear Creek enters it, this picturesque community is recognized for its welcoming nature.
