SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES

Natanya Anderson is the Director of Social Media and Digital Strategy at Whole Foods Market. She has been working with

social and new media for over a decade with a focus on both strategy and execution, helping organizations change the way

they engage with their constituents. At Whole Foods she is concentrating on how an extensive local digital footprint merges

with a strong brand presence to create a unique customer experience that differentiates a brand, drives loyalty, and

supports the retail experience. Additionally Ms. Anderson is leading a team that enables more than 1500 team members

working on more than 800 social channels to be empowered local stewards of that shared customer experience.

Jen Augustyn is an advertising professional with 14 years of experience in brand strategy, account management and digital

media. As a Partner at The Dealey Group, Jen sets the foundation for all the strategic efforts developed at the agency

including digital initiatives for Jones Lang LaSalle, Madison Marquette, DLC Management, RPAI, Cypress and Plaza las

Americas. Jen’s ground breaking work in social media has been documented in publications such as Adweek, Brandweek,

Wall Street Journal and Retail Traffic. Prior to joining The Dealey Group in 2007, Jen was with Young & Rubicam New York

and Saatchi & Saatchi New York. At both agencies, Jen managed integrated teams to develop and execute multi-million dollar

marketing campaigns for some of America’s most loved and trusted brands such as Walkman (Sony), Cheerios (General Mills),

Campbell’s Soup, AT&T and Old Spice (Procter & Gamble). In addition to her contributions at The Dealey Group, Jen is a mother, a wife, and a

volunteer researcher for Grants for Innovative Teaching (G-FIT). The purpose of G-FIT is to encourage and support excellence in teaching by

awarding grants to teachers for special and innovative projects that otherwise would not be provided for within public school budgets.

Jill Balis is Senior Vice President, Marketing and brings more than 17 years of experience in consumer marketing, analytics,

customer acquisition and business development to RetailMeNot, Inc. Her primary areas of responsibility include direct user

acquisition and retention strategies, public relations, social media community-building, and shaping and managing the

continued evolution of RetailMeNot's consumer brands. Prior to joining the team, Jill was managing director of SMG Search,

the search-marketing unit of Starcom MediaVest Group, where she led a team of 100 search and social media experts and

oversaw SMG Search's product, providing tangible business results to clients such as General Motors, Walmart, Hyatt,

Continental Airlines, Research In Motion and others. Before SMG, Jill led e-marketing for Orbitz Worldwide as well as various

marketing analytics leadership positions. Jill holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor of

arts in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Bondé is Business Development of Education at HootSuit. He is tasked with creating education rooted

initiatives. Most recently, he lead the launch of the Advanced Social Media Strategy certification, a partnership with one of

North America’s premier Communication Schools–Newhouse at Syracuse University. Before graduating with a Bachelor of

Commerce from University of British Columbia in 2008, Michael studied abroad in France and Australia, and was Student

President at Enactus Okanagan, where he lead a team of 90 students to a 3rd

place finish at Nationals. In 2009, Mike

received the opportunity to join a gorilla-sales team in Corfu, Greece. He spent the year launching new sales campaigns for

a Greek seaplane company. Soon after, Michael turned his interest to interactive technology, which eventually lead him to HootSuite.

Michael was a founding Executive Director of metabridge, where he ran one of Canada’s leading technology programs, which connects

startups to the Silicon Valley. This was followed by a 2 year gig helping launch a social gaming company in Mountain View, California. Outside

of life at HootSuite, you’ll find Mike helping run Motionball for Special Olympics Canada, TEDxKelowna and #SXHockey.

Becky Bui joined Facebook in 2011 as a vertical business leader on the Global Marketing Solutions team. Becky's team helps

marketers in the retail and eCommerce industry to drive measurable business results by connecting to customers and

prospects on Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Becky spent five years consulting brands on social marketing and community

strategies at the Dachis Group. Becky started her career in boutique advertising and digital marketing agencies. Becky is

based in Austin, TX.

Beth Shanna Carpenter manages social media strategy for entertainment, travel, technology and AARP's Life Reimagined

project. Since 2008, when she created AARP's YouTube channel, Beth has been an integral part of creating the legal and

organizational framework for a social team that today reports over 100 million impressions in an average month. She has

successfully led ambassador activation launches on social, and has made AARP's voice part of conversations ranging from

Michael Jordan's 50th birthday to the Emmys. In 2013, her work was nominated for a Digiday "Best Facebook Marketing

Campaign" award, a campaign that made its average viewer a third more likely to join AARP, according to Nielsen

measurements. She leads social marketing for AARP on all channels, and is always thinking about ways to better help AARP's

38 million members turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities.

Jeff Gibb Leads Business Development at Simply Measured. He develops partnerships with the main social channels, and

also works alongside the world's largest brands and agencies. After starting his career as a marketing analyst, Jeff now

spends his time helping top companies put social data to work. Through viewing hundreds of social analytics reports

every month, Jeff knows what it takes to compete at the highest level across social channels in competitive markets.

Corbett Guest is CEO of Imaginuity Interactive Inc. He brings more than 15 years of big agency experience and strategical

expertise to Imaginuity. He's delivered successful digital marketing strategies to top brands and clients, including JC Penney,

Balfour Beatty, Cadbury Adams, Dr. Pepper, Jones Lang LaSalle and many more. His leadership and direction at Imaginuity

ensure that the agency's clients get real world results and the highest return on their investment. Before he came to

Imaginuity, Corbett was a Creative Director at Divine/marchFIRST, where he led creative and strategic online initiatives for

clients including American Airlines and AT&T Broadband. He also previously served as a Director of Customer Experience at

Vetrix Corporation, where he revolutionized the marketing division, by creating a proprietary methodology that combined

the design, marketing and content strategy teams into a user-focused customer experience practice. Using this methodology, he helped lead

the launch of the first iteration of Fandango.com. Prior to that Corbett served a key role as Director of Innovation at the Vectrix subsidiaries

W3CD and Etherstream which were pioneers in digital music distribution and online, retail fulfillment in the 90s.

Stephanie Orton Lynch is Vice President, Communications for Delucchi Plus. Understanding the power of the written word

from an early age, Stephanie first job was a “papergirl” for the Boston Globe. She now drives strategy to help clients deliver

news and marketing communications in the digital age. This includes the successful integration of traditional and online

communications methods including public and media relations, reputation management, social media, and search engine

marketing. Her area of expertise is in the commercial, residential and retail real estate industries and she is currently

representing more than 30+ private and public companies nationwide. Since joining Delucchi Plus in 2010, the agency has

grown 20% annually and was recently named the 6th Top Agency in Washington, DC by the Washington Business Journal.

Stephanie offer more than 20 years career experience in retail marketing including roles as Marketing Director of CarrAmerica and Hines, and

Regional Marketing Director for Nordstrom in the Washington / Baltimore region. Outside of work, you will find Stephanie on her boat in the

summer, on skis in the winter and filling in her extra time volunteering for the Virginia Special Olympics.

Todd Marks is Founder of viaPlace, Mindgrub and maintains his status as Chief-Everything-Officer for the company. He

leads information architects, user experience specialists, creative interface designers and top-notch developers to solve

business and consumer challenges in rapid information transfer. Marks has been featured in several technical journals and

mainstream media outlets and is sought out to speak regularly at conferences around the country. Todd has been

recognized for his vision and leadership and was named a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in

2013 and 2014, named to the Baltimore Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, as well as named to the VIP List and Most

Admired CEO list by the Daily Record. With his leadership, Mindgrub reached #520 on the Inc. 500|5000 list in 2013, and received a number

of awards including Chesapeake Regional Tech Council’s Tech Company of the Year, a Drupal BlueDrop Award, a Webby, two ADDY Awards

and an American Marketing Association award for Best Branding Campaign. Todd attended Loyola University in Maryland where he

graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Math. While at Loyola, Todd was part of the Rugby team, as well as joining Computer and

Arts Programs and the Loyola Jazz Ensemble. Post Loyola, Todd went to The Johns Hopkins University to work on his Masters in Educational

Technology. Outside of work, Todd still enjoys being outdoors. Most weekends, you can find him camping, kayaking, biking, or spending

time with his family.

Cherilyn Megill, CRX, CMD is Vice President – Marketing & Communications for Phillips Edison & Company. She joined

Phillips Edison & Company in 2013 as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications where she is responsible for

developing marketing and communication strategies and overseeing the planning and implementation of all internal and

external marketing and communications including branding, advertising, public relations, digital marketing and special

events. Prior to her role at Phillips Edison, Mrs. Megill was employed as the Vice President of Marketing for Retail

Properties of America, Inc. from 2005-2013 where she was responsible for corporate and property level marketing and

communication strategies. She played an integral part of the company’s IPO and re-branding initiatives. Previously, Mrs.

Megill was Director of Marketing with The Boyer Company from 2001-2004, and before that, the Senior Director of

Shopping Center MAXI Awards, the Chairperson for the CMD Committee, a member of the CRX Committee, a member of the U.S. MAXI

Team and Co-Chair of the MOCIAL Committee. She received her bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.

Alan McKeon is President and CEO of Alexander Babbage a market and consumer research firm serving clients in the

shopping center, retail, restaurant, sports and entertainment industries. Starting his career in consumer packaged goods

with Kellogg Company in England. McKeon worked with Microsoft in the U.K and then throughout Europe and as European

Manager for Nielsen Marketing Research before coming to the U.S. Alexander Babbage has worked extensively what drives

consumers to destinations such as shopping centers delivering insights that have lead to growth. Alan is a thought-leader

who is frequently called upon to present emerging trends that are impacting different generations of consumers. He

teaches at the University of Shopping Centers at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and The John T. Riordan

School for Professional Development. He also has presented at Urban Land Institute and The New York Times conferences. He is a top rated

speaker for ICSC (rated in the top 10% by attendees) and been quoted in USA Today and The Wall Street Journal. He also has appeared on

CNN, CNBC and the BBC. McKeon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Management, from the University of Manchester,

England.

Tim O’Connell is the Assistant Vice President, Director of Digital Marketing & Communications for RPAI but he is also far

more. He is a jack-of-all-trades, a leader amongst his peers and an integral part of RPAIs leadership team. Whether he is

coordinating RPAI’s shareholder meetings or designing the RPAI sign you see on top of our headquarters, he does it on time,

on budget and with the greatest attention to detail. In 2013 Tim was elected an officer of RPAI, becoming a key decision

maker in the Company’s strategic plan and budgeting process. As Chair of RPAI’s COMM-UNITY Council he has become an

advocate for RPAI employees and fosters an atmosphere of communication and collaboration throughout the company. He

leads RPAI’s charitable giving, employee engagement and overall marketing initiatives. He also played a pivotal role in the

design and layout of RPAI’s new office space in 2012 and was responsible for the relocation of more than 120 employees to an open air office

environment. He is responsible for all content development, including presentations to the Board of Directors, Shareholders, Investors and

rating agencies. He is also responsible for all the content and design involving the Company’s internal and external websites. Tim is an active

member in our leading trade association, The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and was the recipient of the ICSC 2011 US

Silver MAXI Award for an inter-disciplinary campaign and the ICSC 2012 US Silver MAXI Award for New Media Excellence within Emerging

Technology. In 2011, Tim was also honored with the ICSC John T. Riordan Professional Education Scholarship Award. Next, Tim will have the

honor of teaching a class on Enhancing Property Value through Digital Marketing, Promotions and Partnerships at the ICSC RECon Academy in

Las Vegas, NV, May 2014, the biggest trade conference for Retail Real Estate professionals in the country. He received his B.A. in Marketing

from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, where he is an active alumni member for the College of Business.

Steven Pho is the senior vice president of corporate development for RetailMeNot, Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible

for leading all global mergers and acquisitions and has played a key role in identifying and developing strategic partnerships

and new business and revenue opportunities. Steven has 10 years of investment banking experience where advised and

executed a full range of mergers and acquisitions and public and private capital financings ranging in value from $50 million

to over $2 billion for growth companies in the technology industry. Previously, he served as Vice President of Internet and

new media investment banking at Thomas Weisel Partners (now Stifel Nicolaus Weisel) in San Francisco. Prior to that, he

was a member of the technology investment banking group at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in San Francisco. Steven holds an MBA from

the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Denver.

Diana Podaski is Linear Retail’s Vice President of Marketing and Social Media. She handles the company’s corporate

marketing, public relations, website development and social media initiatives. With eight years of experience in the

Shopping Center Industry, this New Englander has been listed under Movers and Shakers – Business people on the move by

AllBusiness.com and The Patriot Ledger. Diana has her own column titled, “Dishing Social Media” in the largest weekly real

estate newspaper in the country, New England & New York Real Estate Journal. She serves as a Co-Chair on the ICSC Boston

Next Generation Committee and volunteers on the ICSC MOCIAL (Mobile, Social, Local) Committee. Prior to Linear Retail,

Diana worked for 5 years at WS Development/S.R. Weiner & Associates. There, she worked in the corporate marketing department and

oversaw corporate and shopping center marketing at numerous centers. She holds a B.A. in Communication and an Associate Degree in

Applied Science for Community Leadership, both from the University of New Hampshire. She also studied Public Relations and New

Communication Technologies at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. She was a scholarship recipient of ICSC’s John T. Riordan School for

Professional Development Institute for advanced marketing coursework. Diana is certified in InDesign, Visio, and SitesUSA. Diana’s forever

love is music; going to shows, learning about new musicians and playing guitar. She also enjoys exploring Boston, boating in the summer,

snowboarding in the winter and everything in the fall.

Vegas Stays on YouTube is already being adopted by universities and companies for training purposes. He made Forbes Top 50 Power

Influencers list. Socialnomics was a finalist for the "2010 Book of the Year" awarded by the American Marketing Association. Qualman

produced "Social Media Revolution" the most viewed social media video series in the world, which has been used by NASA to the National

Guard. Forbes and Fast Company Magazine list him as a Top 100 Digital Influencer. Qualman is a frequently requested International speaker

from Brazil to Thailand and has been highlighted in numerous media outlets including: 60 Minutes , The New York Times, WSJ, Mashable, USA

honored as the Michigan State Alum of the Year and in 2012 he was selected as one of the Top 50 Professors in the world. He was Academic

All-Big Ten in basketball at Michigan State University and still finds time to follow his beloved Spartans while living in Boston with his wife and

two daughters.

Caroline Quinn, CRX, CMD, CSM has been a Regional Marketing Director with PREIT since 1997. In this role, she oversees

the strategic marketing programs and personnel at 15 regional malls in eight states, including PA, MA, MD, NJ, NC, SC, VA,

and WV. Caroline works closely with the PREIT Marketing Team to develop and implement award-winning sales

promotions and digital strategies that are implemented at all 37 PREIT malls. She manages the implementation of digital

sales promotions, working with PREIT Marketing Directors to ensure that the promotions run smoothly, trouble-shooting

issues as they arise, monitoring analytics, and reporting on results. She also manages the mall websites and serves as the

liaison between marketing personnel and the website administrator, while trouble-shooting issues and reporting on analytics. Caroline is

currently involved with a major mall website and app redesign project which will launch in the summer of 2014. She also assists marketing

directors with the launch and strategic direction for their social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. For her region,

Caroline provides strategic direction for the mall marketing plans, advertising and promotion campaigns, digital initiatives, retailer support,

public relations, and income-generation. She is also experienced with devising and implementing marketing plans for malls under

redevelopment and grand re-openings. Caroline has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism from The University of Michigan.

She has been an active member of the ICSC since 1985, and holds a Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX), Certified Marketing Director

(CMD) and Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation. She has been a MAXI Award winner and finalist on numerous occasions,

and recently served as a MAXI judge and CMD Exam question-writer. Caroline resides with her family in Plymouth, MA.

Julie Rickey, CRX, CMD, is Senior Vice President, Director of Portfolio Marketing for JLL Retail where she provides the overall

strategic direction for the field marketing group and oversees the development and implementation of JLL Retail’s consumer

and B2B property marketing initiatives. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, consumer and market research, brand

positioning, sales promotions, advertising, public relations and crisis management. To effectively engage with target

audiences and optimize marketing budgets, she ensures all forms of digital media – web, social and mobile – are fully

integrated into JLL Retail marketing programs. Ms. Rickey also works closely with corporate marketing, research and the

client service teams to maximize results and drive client satisfaction. Ms. Rickey has more than 25 years of experience in the

real estate industry. Prior to joining JLL, Ms. Rickey worked for General Growth Properties for 14 years where she served as Vice President of

Marketing for GGP’s Third Party Management Division for 10 years and Regional Vice President of Marketing for four years. Prior to that, she

served as Corporate Director of Marketing for Baita International, Inc. and held marketing positions with Atlanta-based Carter & Associates.

Her retail real estate experience spans a wide variety of property types from super-regional enclosed malls to neighborhood centers to

mixed-use projects. Ms. Rickey holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia and earned the Certified Retail Property Executive

(CRX) and Certified Marketing Director (CMD) designations from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), in which she is an

active member. She is also the recipient of numerous ICSC MAXI awards.

Mallorie Rosenbluth is Vice President of Client Service at Likeable Media. Prior to joining the Likeable team in January

2010, Mallorie was a Social Media, Marketing and Branding Consultant at Wegmans Food Markets in Rochester, NY. Her

previous roles at Likeable include Director of Small Business and Managing Director of New Client Strategy. Mallorie now

oversees all elements of client service. She ensures clients have an amazing and “likeable” experience with their team,

maintaining a consistent touch-point for clients through all interactions while managing the day-to-day account

teams. Mallorie has spoken at events including Social Media Week, New York University’s Social Media Intensive Week,

Digital Summit (Phoenix, Long Island, etc), among others. She was also the recipient of the 2011 Social Media Star Award

presented by the Social Media Society.

Mara Russiaky is an Assistant Vice-President, Senior Marketing Director as well as an Officer for Retail Properties of America

(RPAI), a self-managed REIT and one of the largest owners and operators of over 237 properties in the U.S. She began working

for RPAI in April 2008 as a Marketing Director in a regional capacity, drawing on her diverse flair in the shopping center

industry, and has since created a platform for the consumer marketing department to promote marketing excellence

throughout RPAI’s U.S. North and West regions, encompassing 15.9 million square feet of shopping centers. Mara’s expansive

day ranges from managing all consumer-marketing social media initiatives, to executing national branding programs, to

implementing events and promotions across RPAI’s diversified mix of power, community and lifestyle centers. Mara also oversees

sponsorships, income generation opportunities, the gift card program and is an integral part of charity-focused company initiatives and fund-

raisers. Equipped with almost 20 years of marketing experience, Mara uses her expansive network and expertise to empower a talented

team of marketing directors and property managers with the gears they need to drive as successful ambassadors of innovation, supporting

RPAI’s commitment to being “The Best In Retail. From Every Angle.” Her eagerness and unparalleled drive to sustain success in the ever-

changing world of marketing has made her an expert amongst her peers, receiving three ICSC U.S. Silver MAXI Awards, the first in 2010 for

Cause Related Marketing and then in 2012 for New Media Excellence: Location Based Marketing and New Media Excellence: Best Use of

Social Media. She has also become an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and was honored to be a Judge

for the 2014 U.S. MAXI Awards. Eager to share her passion for the dynamic shopping center real-estate arena with others, Mara will be

teaching a class on Enhancing Property Value through Digital Marketing, Promotions and Partnerships at the ICSC RECon Academy in Las

Vegas, NV, May 2014. Mara received her Bachelors of Liberal Arts and Science degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she

double-majored in English and Communications.

Angela Sweeney is an accomplished real estate marketing executive with over 15 years proven success in analyzing,

developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that facilitate business growth and deliver results. She is currently

the Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Communications for the Peterson Companies where she is responsible for

developing strategic marketing and communications programs to support a fully integrated real estate platform including

retail/mixed use, office and residential. She has worked for some the industry’s most prominent and well respected retail

real estate companies including The Rouse Company, The Mills, Urban Retail Properties and Madison Marquette. Angela

earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration from Towson University and also

industry committees.

Judy Trias, CMD is Vice President, Retail Marketing since 2009, leads PREIT’s multi-dimensional strategic marketing efforts

designed to support the Company’s vision of creating dynamic and compelling environments for the retailers, consumers and

communities it serves. Trias oversees 30 field marketing professionals in addition to PREIT’s in-house advertising agency. Trias

plays an integral role in the conceptualization, development and implementation of PREIT’s emerging consumer-facing

integrated digital strategy, including property websites, mobile app, social media, and numerous technology based initiatives

designed to enhance customer experience, drive traffic and support retailer sales. She also guides her team to produce

award-winning sales promotions, creative income generation solutions, and engaging community programs. Trias has vast

experience in crafting and monitoring strategic business plans; repositioning and grand opening redeveloped shopping centers; developing

and executing customized marketing campaigns for a wide array of properties with varied markets and budgets; providing strategic direction

for advertising and media campaigns; creating and implementing consumer loyalty programs; purchasing and managing décor programs;

providing business-to-business platforms and market analysis to support retailer acquisition and retention strategies; creating and executing

market research studies; and, serving on task forces and best practice pilot teams for newly acquired portfolios/properties. Trias has a

bachelor degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration/Marketing from The University of Delaware. An active member

of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), she holds a Certified Marketing Director (CMD) designation, and has been a MAXI

Award winner and finalist on numerous occasions. She has served on the ICSC MAXI Committee since 2009, and has been a panelist and

speaker at several industry meetings. She is also a member of the CMD Committee. She resides in suburban Philadelphia, PA.

platforms aimed to enhance the shopping experience and connect retail brands with consumers.

Rob Wilk is Vice President of sales and Brand Partnerships at Foursquare. Rob has more than 18 years of advertising and

media experience, in which he’s spent the past 15 years specifically focused in digital/mobile on both the agency and

publisher sides. Prior to foursquare, Rob directed a team of 60 U.S. and Canada based employees who were tasked with

driving optimal search performance for some of Yahoo’s biggest advertisers with revenue on pace to exceed $1 billion. He

oversaw the field search account management team, the global search account management team and the award-winning

search optimization and strategy team. Rob, who has worked in various search sales roles over the past decade, joined

Overture (now Yahoo) as one of the company’s first 10 employees in the New York office. In addition to search sales and

account management positions, Rob was also a founding member of Razorfish’s highly regarded search practice.

Lisa Wolstromer is Senior Marketing Director for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust’s (PREIT) Cherry Hill Mall,

South Jersey’s top fashion destination, and Moorestown Mall, a family-oriented shopping mall transitioning into a vibrant

dining and entertainment experience. As a 25-year shopping center industry veteran, Wolstromer has extensive, first-hand

knowledge of the retail world and leading fashion trends. Lisa Wolstromer has been in the shopping center industry for 27

years. Prior to becoming Cherry Hill Mall’s senior marketing director Lisa was marketing director of PREIT’s Moorestown

and Cumberland Malls. Lisa received her CMD designation from ICSC in 2006 and has won several Maxi and Silver-Maxi

awards for shopping center marking excellence. Prior to joining PREIT, Wolstromer served as senior marketing director at Westfield America

Inc.’s Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ; marketing manager at Kravco Company’s King of Prussia Plaza and Court; and marketing

director at Kravco’s Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrenceville, NJ. She has a BS in Business Administration/Marketing and Retail Management

from Drexel University.
