Climb to New Heights - The Highlands of Cape Breton are situated on the world-renowned Cabot Trail and offer some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and hiking trails in the world. A portion of this significant example of Canada’s natural heritage has been designated as a national park. Fifteen out of the twenty-nine guided hikes featured in this year’s festival are within the Cape Breton Highlands National Park!

See the Sights - The Cape Breton Highlands are part of the Appalachian Mountain Range. Enjoy the fresh air, breathtaking landscapes, whale watching, kayaking and Cape Breton Island hospitality with our experienced local guides and storytellers.
