Michael Harrison is one of the most quoted experts on radio and its relationship to both popular culture and public policy in America today. He is the editor and publisher of two of the industry’s leading trades, Talkers (www.talkers.com) and RadioInfo (www.radioinfo.com). During his 48 year career he has been a pioneer in both music and talk having worked as PD and/or talent at WNEW-‐FM, WCBS-‐FM, and WPIX-‐FM in New York; KMET, Los Angeles; WZLX, Boston; KPRI, San Diego; WLIR, Long Island; WTIC-‐AM, Hartford and many more. He will delve into the fragile specialness of audio-‐only media in the digital era of multi-‐media platforms.
