From The Director’s Desk…
Every Believer A Witness! (You may have seen this if you receive the September e-letter. This gives more ex-
planation.) Does that sound like a spiritual truth that we can all agree with? Sure, you say. And it is definitely
true. We all are witnesses in some way or another as a Christian. We can be a good witness or we can be a bad
witness, but a witness we are! Every Believer A Witness is also a training plan that can be used to teach believ-
ers not to share a presentation of the gospel, but to share the gospel in sharing their own testimony. It is a way that they can
use every day to share with friends, relatives, colleagues and neighbors as they have conversation with them. This plan is
based on the belief that every believer in the Body of Christ should be sharing their salvation journey with those they come
in contact with.
This is not just another witness training plan. It is not about learning a plan for presentation. It is not about memorizing cer-
tain scriptures. It is about naturally sharing your experience through everyday conversation with people that you know.
Have you ever asked yourself the question, who is going to talk to the people in my family or my friends, neighbors and col-
leagues at work about their relationship with Christ? Or have you ever stopped to think, if they do not know Christ, what is
their eternal destination? Their destination is eternal separation from God in hell, if they do not know Him. Who is going to
tell them, unless you do? There may not be anyone else. Surveys show that most people are open to their friends or relatives
sharing about their faith if they do so in a natural way through normal conversation. Telling our story is a natural way to
lead to open conversations about our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This is a simple and natural way to do
what all of us as Christians need to do. Every believer is a witness whether they have the gift of evangelism or not.
I have just received training on how to lead this training plan that is designed for every member of the church. It can be done
in a special revival format (Sunday morning through Wednesday night) or it can be done on 7 Sunday mornings. I would be
happy to talk to any of our pastors and/or churches about doing this training for your
people. Most of our training includes only church leaders and deals with a presenta-
tion of the gospel. This is designed to communicate to all the members how they can
share through conversations with people in their normal daily living. Nothing to
memorize, no planned visits with people you do not know; simply learning to share
your experience with people you have relationships with.
If you have any interest, please contact me. I will be glad to come and share this plan
so that we can seek to burden the hearts of our people and give them a simple way to
share their faith. We all know that Jesus left us our marching orders. In Acts 1:8, he
tells us, “You will be My witnesses…” The only question is what kind of witness and
how effective are we going to be. Let’s train all our people to be con-
cerned for the lost around them and to be on mission for Him! www.EveryBelieverAWitness.org
