The WaterSince 2004, Wine To Water has provided clean water access

to more than 300,000 people in over 18 countries around the

world. We are committed to eradicating the water crisis through

the generous support of our donors and volunteers. Wine To

Water focuses on sustainable water and sanitation initiatives that

provide lasting benefits to those in need.

Wine To Water will provide access to clean water and sanitation

in many different ways depending on the local needs, resources,

and situation. This can be done through the repairing of wells,

digging of new wells, installing rain-water harvest tanks, and

providing hygiene and sanitation systems.

The fact is, there is no life without water. Your support has and

will continue to save the lives of many.

Our Wine To Water CommunityJesus’ first miracle was turning water into

wine at a wedding. This miraculous but simple

gift allowed the community to continue in

celebration. Our community provides those who

are fortunate with the opportunity to celebrate

life through the gift of clean water.

Amazon WellIn remote areas of Colombia, Peru, and Brazil, there are many

jungle villages along the Amazon river where water-borne illnesses

are a daily struggle for the local population. In order to reach

these remote locations, your donations allow us to transport a

compact drilling machine by canoe to where it is most needed.

Well drilling is done on protected ground where clean water is

safe from periodic river flooding. In addition to well drilling, your

donations support rainwater catchment, water filtration, and

sanitation initiatives, as well. These efforts greatly reduce the risk

of waterborne illnesses for the local population and indigenous

peoples of the region.

Haitian Ceramic FilterIn response to the 2010 earthquake, your donations helped Wine

To Water establish a ceramic filter factory in Cyvadier, Haiti. The

demand for clean drinking water remains urgent. Of the 10 million

residents of Haiti, more than 7.3 million people lack access to

clean drinking water and/or sanitation. Our experienced local staff

produces and distributes filters throughout the country. Each

filter is made with clay, sawdust, and nano-silver (antibacterial)

particles. This high-quality ceramic filter provides 99.9% clean

water for a household of five for up to five years.

million people lacking access to clean drinking water. Alongside

our ground partners, we drill and repair wells in La Mosquitia, the

most remote wilderness region of Central America. Your support

will provide clean drinking water and sanitation improvements to

the most rural areas of Honduras.

East African Well RepairWine To Water is committed to providing sustainable water solutions

in the harshest places on earth. Your donations have allowed us to

reach 17,300 people with clean water through well repair in East

Africa. Our local teams repair the broken wells at a fraction of the

cost of drilling a new one. In addition, we establish local water

committees to ensure that each well remains functional.

Item 6

East African Bio-Sand FilterBio-sand filters are household water systems that use a slow sand

filtration process to remove harmful bacteria. They are locally made

from concrete, gravel, and sand by our teams in five manufacturing

centers throughout Uganda and Kenya. Each filter can provide up

to 80 liters of clean water per day. We have provided clean water to

more than 13,600 people using this technology.

East African Bio-Sand Filter: $125

To Water reach 4,830 people

with clean water through our

Ugandan Rainwater Harvest

Tank project.

Item 7

Ugandan Rainwater Harvest TankYour donations support schools and other community service centers

with rainwater harvest tanks. Each 15,000 liter tank is built on site

using specialized bricks made entirely of local materials. This green

technology requires no firing or fuel, as opposed to traditionally made

brick that contributes to the heavy deforestation of Africa. These tanks

are stronger, longer lasting, and one third the price of standard imported

plastic tanks, proving to be a sustainable clean water solution in Africa.

Ugandan Rainwater Harvest Tank: $2,000

Ethiopian Deep WellIn Ethiopia alone, there are approximately 75 million people who

live without access to clean drinking water. Our experienced local

team can drill up to 650 feet through solid rock using specialized

rigs. This provides clean water to an average of 500 people per

well. In addition, communities are trained in sanitation, hygiene, and

oversight of the well.

latrines to communities in

Cambodia.

Cambodian WellDiarrhea, a common water-borne illness, is the leading killer of

children under the age of five in Cambodia. Our ground partners

use locally made drill rigs to build community wells. Included in

the cost of each well, hygiene education and latrines are also

provided to further combat poor sanitation. Access to clean

water not only reduces sickness and improves health, it enables

families to raise livestock and grow crops.

Philippines ReliefDue to climate change and their geographic location, the Philippines

endure an average of 22 severe tropical storms each year. In

November 2013, Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda affected 16 million

people, displacing 4.1 million people. Although this super storm

happened more than a year ago, many people still lack access to

basic necessities. Wine To Water remains committed to providing

sustainable water and hygiene solutions to displaced families. Our

projects focus on water collection/filtration, safe water storage, and

distributing hygiene kits. Your support is directly impacting the lives

of many.
