Welcome

1

2012 has been an amazing year for Tarascon; we surpassed 20,000 downloads of the Tarascon Pharmacopoeia Mobile App and the print Pharmacopoeia earned 5 Stars from Doody’s Book Review for the fifth year in a row! We also published several Tarascon Pocketbooks in new topic areas this year including Medical Procedures, Clinical Neurology, Cardiology, ECG Reference, and General Surgery.

New to 2013 are several long-awaited pocketbooks such as OB/Gyn, Adult Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Palliative Medicine and Allergy & Immunology. Also, in our effort to continually improve the usefulness of the Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia, we have added a second color to this year’s Classic and Deluxe editions! Indications are highlighted in red to make it easier and faster to look up dosing information in drug entries that include multiple indications.

We’ve said it before, but it still holds true that feedback from our customers is invaluable and essential to the success of the entire Tarascon series. Please forward your suggestions for making the Tarascon series even better. Are there new tables you’d like us to add to the Pharmacopoeia? Are there topics you’d like us to add to the Pocketbook series? Do you have ideas for an app that you would find useful? Any suggested topics for our monthly newsletter? We want to tailor our books and our messaging so we are providing exactly what our customers want and need, so please don’t be shy about letting us know what you think. Simply email us at [email protected].

Thank you for another great year!

Tarascon Pharmacopoeia®MOBILE APP

$3999

The most complete and up-to-date resource in the Pharmacopoeia family of products. Your 12-month subscription includes weekly content updates, a drug-drug interaction tool, and medical calculators.

“I find this book extremely useful when I’m looking for something ‘outside my normal body parts. The medications are listed by relevant system and type, then subdivided by class (i.e. for skin, for gyn, antibiotic-penicillin, cephalsporin, etc) so if one is trying to jog your memory on something you can narrow it down quickly. Flipping pages rapidly can still work wonders in figuring things out—particularly when a patient isn’t exactly sure of the name and there isn’t a record to be found.”
