Whats your study goal? Almost 60,000 students study with Sydney TAFE every year, each one motivated by very different career goals. They may have masters degrees or no previous qualifications, might work full-time or be seeking employment, have a clear idea of the skills they need or be looking for advice for the best course and career for them.

Is your goal to get job-ready while doing your HSC? Consider a TVET course.

We offer Year 11 and Year 12 students the opportunity to study 60 different job-focused courses on campus while still at school. In 2013, nearly 2,200 students from 147 different schools attended one of our colleges to study a TVET course. Visit our TAFE-delivered Vocational Education and Training (TVET) table in The Muse, Building C. See 4 on the map.

Is your goal to get promoted, change careers or update your skills? Try one of our short courses or higher level qualifications.

Sydney TAFE offers a range of short courses to help you gain that professional licence or refine your skill set. We also offer higher level certificate and diploma qualifications part-time or online to suit your personal and work commitments, and can even fast-track your study to get that promotion faster. Enrol today in one of these short courses and receive $50 off. Please ask our staff in Library, Building D. See 9 on the map.

Is your goal to get a degree? Get your pathway into higher education with Sydney TAFE.

Sydney TAFE is a flexible, accredited alternative to university. We provide four TAFE NSW Higher Education degrees, five special university partnerships programs and 400 credit transfer pathways. Visit our higher education or pathway booth 10 on the map.

Is your goal to combine paid work with training? Become an apprentice or trainee.

Sydney TAFE enrols almost 6000 apprentices and 800 trainees each year in areas as diverse as civil construction, hairdressing, business administration, electrotechnology and childrens services. We offer more than 150 different courses for trainees and apprentices and target our training to suit both you and your employer.

Is your goal to gain employment or return to the workforce? Consider one of our general education and employability skills courses.

Many of our students choose Sydney TAFE because of its informal, friendly approach to study and genuine desire to help you succeed.

Whether youre returning to the workforce after a long break, need recognition for an overseas qualification or simply want to update your skills to be more confident applying for jobs, we have a course for you. Our programs offer the individual attention you need. Visit the recognition of prior learning booth 7 on the map.

Study in Australia as an international studentEach year more than 2,000 international students choose Sydney TAFE. We offer a wide range of opportunities for international students, including English language courses, vocational courses and study tours.
