2013 MONNAIE MONEY VIDEO CONTEST

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

This contest is open to currently open to youth in the province of Quebec from the ages of 12-35

years old at time of video submission only.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Individuals eligible to enter the Contest in accordance with these criteria will hereinafter

be referred to as an “Eligible Entrant”.

CONTEST PERIOD

2. Contest begins July 1, 2013 at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time (ET) and ends on October

25, 2013 at 3:00:00 pm ET. The contest consists of three (3) stages,

a. Submit Video Period, begins July 1, 2013 at 12:00:01am Eastern Time (ET) and

ends on October 25, 2013 at 3:00:00 pm ET

b. Voting Period by Selection Committee, November 6, 2013 3:00:00 pm ET to

November 6, 2013, 8:00:00 pm ET,

c. Awards will be presented on November 22, 2013 and announced on the

MonnaieMoney Facebook page and the Monnaiemoney homepage

3. Submit Video Period

Eligible Entrant’s will be required to complete a release form prior to uploading their

original video to the Monnaie Money Video Contest. The time of the submission will be

based on the time the video is completely uploaded.

Videos submitted during the Submit Video Period will be broadcasted on the

Monnaie Money website.

4. There is a NO limit of submissions.

You may enter as often as you wish. Only entries received between the eligible voting

period will be considered. Entries posted before or after the listed contest time period will

be disqualified.

5. By submitting a video, the Eligible Entrant agrees that the submission (and each

individual component thereof) complies with all of the conditions stated in these rules.

The Eligible Entrant relinquishes all rights and conditions of the video submission. Upon

submission, the media and intellectual property becomes the property of the Monnaie

Money Project. Submissions should be the eligible entrant’s original work and not

infringe on any third party’s copyright, trade-mark or other intellectual property rights.

6. Submission Guidelines. Each Submission must:

a. be original, created solely by the Eligible Entrant for this Contest, and the Eligible

Entrant must have all necessary rights, title and interest and copyright, therein;

b. not have been previously published, entered in any other competition, or won any

other prize/award;

c. not infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, or defame or invade the

publicity or privacy rights of any third party living or deceased;

d. be at least 2 minutes but not longer than 3 minutes;

e. focus on why financial literacy & money management is important for youth;

f. be in English, French or English & French,

g. not use the trade-marks, logos or packaging of any third parties;

h. not display, encourage or incite any dangerous, hazardous or unlawful behaviour;

i. be suitable for publication. Any entries depicting or considered obscene, or containing

any explicitly sexual or indecent, or encourage threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous,

defamatory, libelous, hateful or discriminatory behavior will be disqualified and given to

the appropriate authorities;

j. meet the guidelines to be eligible to advance to the voting period;

7. The Contest Committee will review each submission, verify that the entry is from an

Eligible Entrant and adherses to the terms and conditions in the contest rules and

regulations. Any submissions that the Contest Committee deems, in its sole discretion, to

violate the terms and conditions set forth in these rules will be disqualified. The Contest

Committee reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are discriminatory, offensive or

display unlawful behaviour without notice to entrant.

8. At the conclusion of the Submit Video Period, the Contest Committee will post videos

meeting the contest terms and conditions on the Monnaie Money Webpage

www.monnaiemoney.com

9. Award Period, November 22, 2013.

a. At 4 pm ET on November 22, 2013, the official results of the contest will be published

on the Monnaie Money Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ cje m monnaie) and

Monnaie Money home page.

b. The winning entrant will be notified via e-mail address no later than 9 pm on

November 14, 2013.

10. Grand Prize:

The Grand Prize will consist of the Apple iPad4 & $500.00 cash prize. The Grand Prize

winner will also have their video featured on the Monnaie Money Facebook Page, Monnaie

Money home page and any other following publicity.
