INTRODUCING THE 2013 ENCLAVETHE FINEST LUXURY CROSSOVER EVERThis is the one that started it all. Buick began its product transformation with Enclave, a beautiful and well-appointed luxury SUV that introduced the world to a new era for Buick.

For 2013, Buick has introduced compelling interior, exterior and feature upgrades while maintaining the same quiet, comfort and luxury that made the Enclave so popular. It’s perfect for customers who want a more welcoming and elegant luxury crossover.

This luxurious, 7-passenger vehicle has plenty of space, with 8-passenger seating available and fold-flat second- and third-row seats to offer considerable cargo capacity. It’s a sanctuary for the driver and an inviting space for family and friends, with new premium interior materials, new interior colors and ambient lighting.

Enclave is more competitive than ever with thoughtful technologies that come standard, such as a Color Touch Radio with IntelliLink, an integrated Rearview Camera System, Ultrasonic Rear Park Assist, Remote Start and Tri-zone Climate Control.

Additional standard features include the industry’s first center side air bag, a Direct Injection 288 horsepower VVT V6 engine, StabiliTrak® technology with traction control and a power liftgate. The luxury crossover features Buick’s exclusive QuietTuning® process, which follows a three-point strategy of reducing sounds at their source, blocking sounds from entering the cabin and absorbing any remaining sounds. That means the sounds of city traffic and howling wind are left outside where they belong.

Inside, the quiet cabin offers an opportunity for the standard color touch AM/FM/HD Radio™/SiriusXM® stereo and available Bose® 10-speaker sound system to really shine, and a perfect environment for the standard IntelliLink voice-activated infotainment system to function. Enclave’s surround sound system reproduces instrumental nuances and vocal inflections captured during live recordings so listeners won’t miss a single beat. The Enclave is ready for anything with available AWD. If road conditions worsen, drivers can keep their hands on the wheel instead of reaching for a traction control button, because the intelligent AWD system is activated automatically when you need it most. While competitors’ systems merely react to wheel spin, Enclave’s AWD system can read a wide variety of road conditions, and constantly monitor the traction of all four tires. Power and control is adjusted and balanced between all four tires whether they’re cruising over slippery surfaces or dry pavement.

And because it’s a Buick, the Enclave comes standard with StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System with traction control to constantly monitor and retain traction. It forms a bond with the road and maintains the driver’s intended steering path.

The high-tech combination of Enclave’s 6-speed automatic transmission and 288 horsepower 3.6L V6 engine with Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing are key to maximizing performance and efficiency. Together, they produce an impressive 24 mpg on the highway.

SAFETY

Safety continues to be at the core of Enclave. Strategically positioned high-strength steel acts as a safety cage, absorbing energy in the event of a crash and surrounding its occupants with protection.

Enclave is well stocked with features to prevent accidents from happening in the first place. For 2013, an available Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA) with Cross Traffic Alert uses radar to help your customer keep an eye on their blind spot. With SBZA, the driver is alerted by a signal on the outside mirror when a vehicle enters their blind zone. For Cross Traffic Alert, the driver is warned three ways – the SBZA signal blinks, a triangle icon illuminates in the appropriate side of the rearview display, and an audible warning is emitted from the side speaker.

A standard Rearview Camera System turns on automatically when the vehicle is put in reverse, and an Ultrasonic Rear Park Assist comes standard. A dash-mounted screen displays a live image of the area behind the vehicle to give the driver confidence when backing up.
