Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2013-2014 UC Davis Eye Center Continuing Medical Education Programs. Each year, our department, in conjunction with the UC Davis Health System Office of Continuing Medical Education, provides a series of Visiting Professor Grand Rounds, didactic programs, and our Annual Symposium designed to provide the community and our region with high-quality continuing medical education in ophthalmology. Each of these activities has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. For the coming year, we have planned an exciting Visiting Professor Grand Rounds series listed in this brochure. We invite you to join us at the Eye Center for these CME activities in each of the subspecialties of ophthalmology. The 37th Annual Symposium entitled, "The TEAMS Approach to Eye Care: Treating Eyes Across Medical Specialties” will be returning to the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel, June 6-8, 2014. On Saturday, June 21, 2014, the Eye Center will host the 3rd Annual Resident and Alumni Day on the UC Davis Medical Center Campus. This one-day educational program will feature resident and fellow research-presentations in addition to keynote lectures from a featured alumnus. On September 20, 2014, we will host, the “3rd Annual, The EYES of CHILD", an enormously successful program geared toward pediatricians, optometrists, school nurses, and technicians.
