Don’t you love getting a killer snap then pull everyone down the first straight, or getting a trick for the first after dozens of tries or the wind in your face as you course down a technical downhill trail? We certainly do. As avid riders, our experiences on the bike are what keep us motivated to keep producing the best BMX and mountain bike products available. At VSI we take pride in serving the bicycle industry and consumers with our brands, products, knowledge and enthusiasm.

During the past few months, we have implemented some positive changes with more coming in the near future. All are aimed at bringing us closer to our customers, be they wholesalers, retailers or consumers. Notably, our shipping program received a complete makeover. We now offer affordable and competitive UPS Ground shipping rates to retailers throughout the 48 contiguous states. We ship bicycles for a flat $10 fee, while qualifying bike orders ship free. Parts and accessories are shipped at a separate rate, but equally affordable. For orders of at least $500, shipping is on us. Shipping costs should no longer be a determining factor when deciding to purchase from VSI. We’ve also done extensive work to reorganize our warehouse, optimizing product placement and inventory handling to reduce picking times. More important, our staff has gone through specific training to improve our service level and order fulfillment accuracy. This has allowed us to achieve a 100 percent same-day fill rate for qualifying orders. In the sales office we have invested in our staff and improved procedures. When you call VSI, any of our inside sales representatives are ready and able to assist you. They have access to complete all dealer order histories and backgrounds, so we can efficiently handle your orders and save you time. You will be more than satisfied with our ability to please. In September, we will begin the launch of Shopatron online stores for each of our brands. With Shopatron, retailers have the ability to fulfill orders captured in these stores and get paid the next day. It’s a fantastic way to bring online business to VSI while keeping our dealers in the loop and profitable. From a product standpoint, we continue to refine the broad range of amazing products across all our brands. We offer the most diverse and balanced BMX racing bicycle line; the most graphic-rich and lightest weight fullface helmets on the market; new ultra-lightweight racing frames by Intense and Speed; amazing U.S.-made EYE freestyle frames; as well as many other products serving the needs of mountain bikers and BMXers alike. Consumer demand for all our brands continues to grow. We are most proud of the way THE, Speed, Sinz Elite and Vigor are growing. THE is leading the way with the T2 and Point 5 helmets, Speed is the most successful new BMX racing brand, Sinz Elite’s line of innovative forks, cranks and components are best sellers, while retailers and consumers are Vigors is getting reacquainted with retailers and consumers with great looking and fitting affordable helmets. Sinz remains the only full parts offering for racing bikes. Intense BMX is still the choice of many due to the great geometry and winning ride of the frames and bikes, not to mention the new 2012 colors and graphics. EYE and AVE continue to refine the frame and parts. And last, but not least, ITS introduces 120 tpi casings. We also continue to support the best racers in the world. As we put this catalog together, Marc Willers is the World Number One and leads the ABA Pro points. Since joining the Factory Speed team in 2011, Marc has has had the best year of his career, winning more than a dozen races, including two UCI World Cup Supercross races. Factory Intense pros David Herman and Arielle Martin also continue to make their way onto ABA and international podiums. Speed, Intense, Sinz Elite, THE and ITS riders took far too many World Championship medals to list here, but here are a few highlights: Marian Pajon rode her Speed to the Women’s Elite World Championships; Melinda McLeod picked up double Junior Elite World Championships on her Intense; Felicia Stancil doubled while Ryan Pettigrew picked up a gold—both on Speeds and Marc Willers grabbed a bronze. Besides these world beaters, we also sponsor a massive number of U.S. and international riders and teams. Among them are J&R-Speed, Rennen-Intense, Factory Free Agent, Factory Crupi, ONE-Kenda, Intense Europe and many, many more. In freestyle, EYE/AVE riders Cody McKenna, Chris Bracamonte and Eric Hough have been making big names for themselves this past year. VSI is committed to developing, producing and selling the best BMX and mountain biking components, frames, bikes and protective gear. We do this because we live it and love it. We offer custom bikes built to your personal specifications. Just pick a Podium, Podium XLT or Speed M-Series frame in the color and size of your choice, then choose from among a long list of the best Sinz Elite, Sinz, THE and ITS components. The complete parts kit is shipped to the store where you can build the bike or simply turn the parts over to the customer.

Factory Bikes

The Intense Factory Bike line-up is as close to a pro-level bike as you can get without spending pro-level money. Like our Team Bikes, each Factory model is built around a hydro-formed, 6061 aluminum-alloy frame and spec’d with a selection of quality Sinz components and ITS tyres. Factory bikes come with THE Pivotal saddles on the Pro models and Sinz Mini saddles on the smaller bikes, Sinz Elite Stealth Carbon Fiber fork, Sinz Sealed headset, handlebars, stem,Sticky Grips and wheels and ITS MK2 tyres round out the component spec. Available in six 20-inch and one 24-inch sizes with in a sleek Silver Sheen finish. Gold and Red Metallic paint color carry over.

Podium XLT The Intense Podium XLT frames feature a totally re-engineered, ultra-lightweight, hydro-formed tube set and exclusive 10/20-millimeter compatible iHub dropouts. The new tubing means a drop in weight of between 6 and 8 ounces, but with the same amazing ride the Podium is known for. The frames also feature an integrated head tube, CNC-machined dropouts and low stand over heights and come with 10- and 20-millimeter, CNC-machined, alloy chain tensioner blocks. Available in 15 sizes and two color schemes—Pearl White/Red or Black/Team Blue.

Speed M-Series XLT The new Speed M-Series XLT frames are the backbone of what may be the fastest BMX bike design ever offered, but at around a half pound lighter than the original M-Series frames. The weight loss comes from a new tube set. Each tube was meticulously engineered to be lighter weight, yet retain strength and rigidity where needed. An M-Series Limited 533 frame weighs in at 3.5 pounds. All Speed frames include chain tensioner blocks that make them compatible with standard as well as Sinz Elite 20-Mil iHub rear wheels. Available in four 20-inch and two 24-inch cruiser sizes and two colors—New Zealand Black/White or White/Black with a hint of gold.

About the Blocks The unique rear dropouts on all Intense and Speed frames offer versatility no other frames can claim. Every frame comes with two sets of custom, proprietary, rear dropout Blocks. The forged and precision CNC-machined Blocks allow you to run either standard 10-millimeter axle wheels or the stiffer and better-handling Sinz Elite 20-millimeter through-axle wheels. Use the 10-millimeter blocks and run any standard wheel set, or, if you prefer better gate snaps, a more powerful and efficient pull down the first straight and better handling, upgrade your wheels to the Sinz Elite 20-millimeter iHub wheels and use the 20-millimeter Blocks. Both 10- and 20-millimeter Blocks are also available separately. They come in black anodized only.

Q2 Frames Made in Los Angeles using the highest aerospace-grade, heat-treated, 4130-chromoly tubing, the super-low-profile frame comes in three sizes to fit just about any rider. Rider tested with proven geometry the EYE Q is for modern freestylers who need a lightweight and versatile frame that’s equally good for street, dirt, vert or park riding. The eye-shaped cut-out on the head tube acts as a venting hole, allowing heat to escape during welding and the heat-treating process thereby ensuring a super-strong frame. The eye-hole also eliminates unnecessary weight, as do large vent holes throughout the frame, removable brake studs, cable bosses and gyro tabs and the lack of a seat clamp. A large 21.25-inch frame weighs just 4 pounds 9 ounces. It’s all about the details. EYE Q2s all have Mid bottom bracket shells, integrated head tubes, 14-millimeter CNC-machined dropouts and 990 brake positioning on the seat stays. Each frame includes a one-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects and a crash replacement policy. Frame sizes include 20.5-, 21- and 21.25-inch top tubes with 13.5- or 14-inch chain stays and 11.5-inch bottom bracket heights. The head and seat tube angles are 74.5 degrees (75 on the 21.25) and 71 degrees respectively.

Sinz Elite Stealth handlebars are the lightest-weight, carbon-fiber handlebars designed specifically for BMX racing. Available in three sizes—Mini, Junior and Expert—they feature all-carbon construction and multi-tapered walls throughout. Our unique design and manufacturing process result in handlebars with maximum strength and minimal weight. Thicker walls are spec’d where added strength is needed like at the bends and clamp area. Thinner walls in less stressed areas keep the weight low. The Mini and Junior bars have eight wall thickness changes while the Expert bars have 10 due to the addition of a crossbar. In addition, the Expert bars have variably shaped tubing profiles, further boosting strength and rigidity. SINZ iHub Wheels

The iHub Wheels are the most advanced BMX wheels ever offered. The straight-pull spoke design allows the use of less spokes while boosting lateral rigidity, wheel strength and reducing weight. At the heart of the wheels are the lightweight Sinz Elite iHubs, which have hollow 15-millimeter aluminum-alloy axles paired with 10-millimeter button-head bolts. Massive 24-millimeter outer axle flanges create a substantial clamping surface between the hub and the dropouts. System 1 is designed for XC use. It features a large air volume casing with widely spaced knobs for rapid clearance of mud and excellent control in loose conditions.

Bicycles not assembled by an authorized dealer are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. 7.1. Any warranty claims must be made through an authorized dealer, distributor or agent.
