Roles & Responsibilities
Dream Team Volunteer Roles
•Greeters • Stationed at the bottom of the escalators on the 600 level• Greet delegates • Ask and direct individuals to the correct side of the floor (Exhibitor/Trade
Show Only or Registration) on Wednesday/Thursday & Friday • Remember Exhibitors will go to the 800 level on Tuesday Jan 31st
• Need to respond to queries, have an understanding of what’s going on during your shift so that you can direct individuals to the various levels (can be found in the mini map)
•Crowd Control • At the beginning of the stanchions• Direct individuals to the appropriate station/line
• HRPA Info• VIP/Media• Pre-Reg• Onsite• Rapid Reg• Tote Bag

•HRPA Info (computer access)• To answer general questions• Computer access to look up information• Access to the Conference Guide and mini planners• Page detailing other than session rooms e.g. Speaker Ready Room• Respond to queries, have an understanding of what’s going ont
•VIP Media (computer access) • VIP/Speakers/Media will pick up their pre printed badges at this counter• Joined by a Media Volunteer who will hand out HRPA Media packages• Will register speakers and other individuals • Requires special code list• Knowledge of Registration

•Rapid Registration/Course Change Kiosks (computer access)• Knowledge of rapid reg scanners and change kiosks • On Wed 4 of the scanners are switched to Course Change • Volunteers at those computers will help Delegates make their changes• Individuals who make changes to their registration do not receive a
replacement badge (one badge per package)

•Tote Bags • All Volunteers responsible to fill the tote bags when available• Last stop for delegates • Often delegates will approach the tote bag counters to ask general
questions• In fact it’s important for all dream team volunteers to have general
knowledge of what’s going on during their shift to respond to questions.
Dream Team Volunteer Responsibilities
Sign in each day in the conference office 801B to receive coupons for meals for the MTCC food court in the trade show area. This applies every day. If you have no shifts that day let them know.
Arrive 10 minutes before your shift A simple breakfast will be set up each morning for the 6:00 a.m. shift. Please at least be on time.
Sign in each shift with me. I will then assign your role for the shift. Sign out at the end of the shift(s).
I will schedule our photo op on Friday morning probably around 7:00 a.m when I can get our photographer Robin. If you would like to be in the picture, wear your shirt and come on by.
