Awning windows are designed to allow air to flow continu-

ously through a building, while keeping the elements out,

since windows can be opened to various angles which

deflect rain. Oran offers the GOLDA 2 with 11” vents, and

the GOLDA 5 with 8” vents, both models are operated

with roto mechanisms. In addition, the GOLDA 3 push out

operation provides the convenience of practically mainte-

nance free operation. The number of mechanically

moving parts is minimised and all windows offer perfect

weather sealing at their joints.

The RL2/3 Casement windows are superb products

for both commercial & residential applications.

Mitered frames are attractive & extremely strong.

They are hinged on the side and swing out, while

projection windows are hinged at the top and swing

out. Standard and custom sizes are available for

these windows. You can combine fixed and operable

units in a single frame. They are available in white,

bronze, satin anodised or mill finish and are well

SUN SHADES

Sun shades take full advantage of the view whilst

screening the interior from sunlight. They incorporate

standard aluminum extrusions and custom bent alumi-

num plates to produce a series of horizontal louvers.

Oran sunshades can be fabricated to a variety of

designs including Z or elliptical profiles in high quality

extruded aluminium and have been successfully fitted to

a number of commercial and residential projects both

in Barbados and the wider Caribbean.

a variety of styles perfect for sun louvre and shutter

applications. Louvretec products are currently available

in a variety of different sized louvres that can be used in

a wide range of applications to provide a shading effect

to any desired opening. In addition to the fixed louvre

variations, these louvretec products can utilize the KISS

pivoting louvre operation, which can be used in many

custom shutter applications, including aluminum

sliding and bifolding doors.

Oran’s Louvre windows continue to be used in tropical

climates. They provide excellent ventilation. They utilise

4” deep louvre made from either: plastic, glass, wood or

aluminium. Its flexibility makes it a very popular product.

Our Island Blade Louvre with reinforced aluminium blade

infill is used in schools, commercial applications and

other buildings that require its reinforced design that

makes the product extremely durable. The Deluxe

Aluminium Full Frame Window, and the Zine Gezunt

Aluminium Strip Louvre Window both accommodate

wood, glass, and aluminium blades that fit in to louvre

carriers.

CUSTOM COLOURSOran Ltd provides a number of opportunities for you to

provide an personalized touch to your window and door

products through the use of customized colors and

finishes.

On aluminum products Oran can supply professional

powder coated finishes using RAL colors. Powder coats are

applied to a surface electrostatically and then allowed to

cure to form a skin on the surface of the metal. Powder

coating has a number of benefits over conventional

painting, including: thicker coats without running or

sagging and a more consistent finish on both horizontal

and vertical coated surfaces.

UPVC products are stained using the proprietary Royal-

bond Spectra coat paint system, which provides a colorful

finish to UPVC surfaces. Royalbond spectra coats offer a

wide variety of finishes that have proven durability in all

weather conditions and maintains its vibrancy with

maximum reflective properties.

Spyder wall fixtures represents the next big leap in

curtain wall systems providing a frameless glass system

that is fixed to a structure using stainless steel brackets,

The Sureline Series 1000 UPVC window is an

economical sash window that is well engineered using

stainless steel constant force balancers to maintain the

sliding sash in any desired position. Each profile used

in the window is designed with a specific function. The

sill, head and jambs are designed for inside glazing

that makes a more secure way of holding the fixed

glass pane in the frames.This window carries 3mm

glass in a variety of different tints.

The Sureline 2000 UPVC single & double hung sash

windows are both high quality windows that ensure an

attractive appearance for years to come. The glass is

siliconed to the frame for extra weather tightness. The sliding

sash remains at any desired position when open. The

double hung provides aesthetic appeal with frames & sash

that feature heavy duty, fusion welded vinyl construction that

is strong, durable and will never need painting. The double

life-time of low maintenance performance. It is made with

strong durable 2¾” deep frames. The 4 bar stainless

steel friction hinges all for full ventilation in most models

and the unique keeperless handles lock the windows

securely to provide an air tight seal. The strong, durable

vinyl construction allows for full ventilation and air tight

seal. The stainless steel hardware is durable and will resist

corrosion while the unique keeperless locking handle is

panels with polished edges and embedded U channel

Grill designs are made from expanded aluminum extru-

sions to form panels, which are set in a variety of

frames. Grill doors are a great idea for secondary

security at your front and back door. Fixed grills are also

made in a number of different frame surrounds so they

Oran’s Royalguard UPVC windows meet & exceed the

Miami Dade County & Florida Building code protocols

for large missile impact specifications. This range of

products have been engineered & tested to these

standards. The rigorous large missile impact test involves

shooting a 8ft long 2x4 at the product from a cannon.

The glass must break, but it has to stay in the frame to

resist positive & negative wind & water pressures, that

simulate category 5 hurricane forces. This product has

a robust 3 ¼” deep frame with aluminum reinforcement.

The glass is secured to the frame using DOW 995

structural silicone.

Oran Aluminum Roller Shutters offer many benefits. The most

significant is hurricane protection, followed by security protection,

sunshading & privacy application. Oran Ltd uses Rollerstar products.

Some models have been tested & meet Miami Dade County protocols

for large missile impact specification. They also offer ease of operation

in the event of bad weather. Standard profiles are RE40 and RE60 mm

slats in white finish with an available option of added security, using

our RE1000 or RE1500 models which utilize an intermediate locking

slat. All shutters come with enclosed headers and extruded side guide

rails. Oran Roller Shutters are easy to operate either manually or

electrically. Rollershutters can be used as garage doors, and are

available with an optional bottom locking device.

A remote control can also be used to easily access and control

The Renegade steel door panel offers the customer a wide

selection of door design that provides long term strength

and security. The Renegade steel door panel is the sturdiest

built door on the market with its unique skeletal frame and

metal edge construction. An additional reinforcement is

placed at hinge and lock positions for increased strength

where it counts. Lock preparation is factory machined so

that installation is simple. Doors are polyurethane foam

filled and made from 24 gauge galvanised steel and are

factory coated with a rust inhibiting primer.

Oran’s La Porte French Doors are designed to look like

wood doors, but have none of the typical maintenance

problems associated with wood such as warping, rotting

and wracking. They are also attractive and durable.

Aluminum extruded sections have been made to

resemble the shape and size of wood profiles. The doors

are supplied pre-hung to the door frame with stainless

steel butt hinges. Flush bolts are fitted on inactive leaves

and the door is prepared for standard double locks. The

La Porte door can be used in a variety of designs, includ-

ing single & double doors, sidelites & transoms, with a

choice of optional thresholds.
