During the session... Children are UNPREDICTABLE... so, it is my job to be ready for

anything! A lot of times parents get frustrated because sessions

don’t seem to be going perfect... but the wonderful thing is that those

small moments in between all the tantrums & chaos that are beautiful.

People often ask me how I even managed to get one great photograph

of their wild child! The answer is simple... I shoot like crazy and it’s my

jobjob to capture it all! So... the only job I give you as the parents is to

relax & enjoy it! I will do all the hard work! I will give a lot of direction

during the session so you will know exactly what to do. Children match

your energy, so if you are having fun & showing them how much you

love them they will show you the same in return. Sounds simple, right?

Well, once in a while there are children that for whatever reason, do

not want to be photographed, so....

One thing I will ask is to be able to photograph your child or

children away from the parents so they will just focus on me and my

lame jokes. It usually works! They don’t know me & usually children are

on their best behavior for others! This is very important in making

your session run smoothly.

What to Bring to your session... Please bring clothing and accessories as needed. You can arrive

and get your children dressed at the session if you are worried about

them getting messy on the way. Please also bring chap-stick or lip

gloss for children (helps with chapped lips, they are very hard to

Photoshop). To be extra prepared, bring snacks & a favorite toy to

comfort them if they are feeling overwhelmed at the session.

WHAT TO EXPECT

IndividualsI recommend wearing something more bold and colorful with a lot of texture to show off personality. This is an opportunity for your child or yourself to shine! For children, I usually recommend bare feet for indoors and boots or shoes that compliment their outfit for outside.I recI recommend clothing that has texture, such as; knitting, embroidery, dark faded denim, buttons, and ruffles.This type of clothing tends to photograph well and adds a lot of visual interest.

SiblingsIt can be difficult to coordinate colors and not look too matchy.I recommend picking a few colors, but try not to put them in the sasame exact clothing. The more layers, textures and colors, the better. Just pick colors that compliment each other. I recommend bright or deep colors (jewel tones like mustard yellow, deep purple,turquoise, dark pink, etc.) and try to stay away from all white. I do recommend investing in your child's clothing for the session since it does make a huge difference in the final product. Search out local or online boutiques, they have one of a kind style.

FamiliesFamiliesChoose a style you like and a few colors you like as well.I recommend having the parents dress fashionable, yet simple and focus more of the funky,unique style on the kids. If you have 5 people all dressing with a lot of layers and accessories it can be too much.Dark jeans that have a grit to them is always a great choice for thepareparents or especially the husband. If you are going to wear a print,stay away from small prints, there is not a lot of visual interest (think bold!). Continue to think about texture and color. You may think that certain colors don’t go together, but again thinkout of the box and have fun!

WHAT TO WEAR

Booking your session: The session fee is due at time of booking. Sessions last between 1-1.5 hours, which will be guaranteed to you by the photographer. Credit cards can be taken over the phone or you can mail a check. If payment is not received in 3 days, your session will be cancelled. If you have to reschedule your session please give at least 48 hoursnnotice.

Ordering your prints: You will have 14 days to view your images online. In thatallotted time you will able to order your prints and special products.In that amount of time I will make sure to have your online galleryoperating correctly for you to view and order. I will also provide an ordering session to meet with you in person if needed. Ordering can be stressful, so I am hastressful, so I am happy to help you make your decisions. At this timeI will have samples of my books & canvases for you to view. Please be ready with a list of your favorites to make the ordering process easier. Full payment is due on the day you place your order.Credit Cards, cash and checks are accepted.Payment plans are also available with a signed agreement.

Reprints: Reprints can be made at any time, please just call me or e-mail me toplace your order.

By doing so, you are devaluing my work as an artist. Fines will start at $50,000ffor copyright infringement.

Performance: If the Photographer cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other causebeyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness,then the Photographer shall give a full refund or reschedulethe portrait sitting. An orchard, barn, or field describes a country setting best. I would describe these images as whimsical & dreamy. Great for families that want to have space to playat their session. This is my favorite type of session because of the dreamy, back-lit glow that the sunset provides. *This session is scheduled approximately 1.5 hours before sunset.

A City/Urban session will take place downtown... This session is revolved around the colors & texture of the city. Imagine large buildings, gritty brickbackgrounds & lots of color. This session is hip & fun, so enjoy!*This session is scheduled approximately 2-3 hours before sunset.

A studio session doesn’t have to be boring! If you want a simpler look that istimeless & crisp, the studio may be for you! There are a lot of options at the studio that will be available, backdrops & props galore!*This session can be booked anytime of day & is a great options for babies.
