For your protection, we highly recommend trip insurance to cover any unexpected emergency cancellations. Gratuities are included in our 15% resort service fee that is added along with applicable sales tax toyour package. The management practice in place is that elk to be harvested will be 320" or larger Boone and Crocket class and mule deer will be 180" or larger Boone and Crocket class. By allowingyounger animals to reach a mature age class and their genetic potential, we will provide a quality trophy hunt with anever-improving class of trophies.

Our week-long Dude Ranch experiences start on Sundays with a High Lonesome Ranch welcome and orientation and end on Saturdays, often with families' being fully bonded toone another, their wranglers and especially to their horses. Horses are an integral part ofranch life, and at The High Lonesome Ranch we've got an assortment of equestrian activities for all levels of riders.

There is always something interesting to do at The High Lonesome Ranch. Even disgruntled teenagers turn their frowns upside down when they step foot on theranch. The open space, equestrian activities and delicious food make for a powerful combination, one that everyone remembers for a long time to come.

The High Lonesome Ranch Guest Ranch packages are geared towards year-round outdoors activities. Options include a full equestrian program, fly-fishing, wing shooting,

hiking, mountain biking, big game hunting, nature tours,massage therapy, white-water rafting trips, wild-horsetours, golf, cooking classes, and winery tours. Choosefrom pre-made packages or build your own.

At The High Lonesome Ranch's epicenter are the ranchheadquarters and cookhouse. Both log buildings are froman authentic, pioneer homestead. The Lonesome Outfittershop has all the hard and soft goods you'll need for youradventures. Cocktail hour is held by the stone hearth on the living room's leather chairsand couches. The adjoining dining room has aspen tables and chairs that can be configured in any way to best accommodate your group. A private guest business centerin our headquarters is complete with a computer and a hard phone line as well as WiFi.We now feature WiFi access at several of our guest quarters.
