With this issue you have our new Plant Virus Diagnostics Catalogue 2012 in your hands.

We are continuously expanding the list of serological products for virus detection and this

edition now contains new high quality serological reagents for detection of important viruses of

agricultural and horticultural crops and, for emerging plant viruses. It is our ambition that

diagnostic products meet our high quality standards and thus all materials are routinely

checked and substituted when better materials become available. Those improved serological

products are also listed below.

We have expanded our portfolio and can announce that we have developed an antiserum for

the detection of Xanthomonas campestris pv. musacearum, causing wilting and dieback on

banana. This antiserum is available for DAS-ELISA and as lateral flow test.

For more detailed information on the spectrum of virus isolates available, please check our

continuously updated online catalogue on our recently re-launched website (www.dsmz.de).

The orders should state the collection number and the name and quantity of the required item in

order to avoid errors and delay. All items up to a value of € 300,00 are shipped, unless

otherwise advised by the customer, via air mail. Please note that we will not have any proof of

delivery for air mail supplies and that they are not insured. Shipment by special courier services

are charged to the customer.

Note: The DSMZ requires that you place your first order using your official business paper either

by post or fax, with your legally binding signature, giving full details of your postal address,

contact person, telephone, and fax connection. Further orders can be sent using the order form

below.

Liabilities and Permits

1. The DSMZ Division of Plant Viruses disclaims all responsibility for any injury or damage

which may be caused by the failure of the buyer or any person to use our products.

2. All products are for in vitro use only. They are not to be used for human or animal

applications. The customer is solely responsible for determining the suitability of the goods for

the purpose which they intend to use them.

3. Positive controls in ELISA may vary in OD values according to plant virus species and

strains, and plant tissue used.

4. Virus inocula viability can be affected, e.g. during transport. Replacement cultures will be

supplied if the DSMZ is informed within two months after receipt of the material.

5. DSMZ products have a guaranteed minimum shelf life of 6 month from the date of delivery

when stored according to the specifications. No further warranties are given. If you have any

questions about specification or performance of our tests, please send your inquiries to

[email protected].

6. Import Licence

There may be restrictions or prohibitions of import of certain antibodies, conjugates, positive

controls, virus inocula and other reagents into certain countries. It is the responsibility of the

customer to check such necessities and/or to receive a permit to handle our products, and

where necessary to provide the DSMZ with import documentation to accompany the product.

Payment

Payments should be made according to the specification given on the invoice. Amounts are

expressed in Euro and are payable immediately after receipt of goods and invoice (separate

cover) without further discount.

All prices are net without the possibility of further discount. Value added tax (at present 7%) will

be charged in addition, if applicable.

All orders placed outside Germany are subject to a handling and banking charge depending on

the amount of the invoice (see table below).
