    Please join us for Capital Pride Health and Fitness Day activities on August 25th (Saturday),

    2012.

    The health and sports community offers ways to IMPROVE and CHALLENGE ourselves, meet

    new people with common interests, strengthen our community and to network. Healthy

    living and fitness activities also contribute to individual well-being and achieving school/

    work/life balance, which is an important consideration for everyone.

    Morning events take place at City Hall. Midday and afternoon events take place at near-by

    Riverain Park. Picnickers and sunbathers are welcome.

    So come on out and do a familiar sport/activity or maybe try something NEW, and then take

    -in the highlight of the Days events: the Divas vs. Dykes Softball Match!

    EVERYONE is welcome!

    Its a day full of good clean FUN for all. So come OUT and get Fit to be Pride!

    There are various food options within walkingdistance near City Hall and Riverain Park.

    Todrics Restaurant (10 McArthur Ave), around

    the corner from Riverain Park, is offering

    Health and Fitness Day participants a 10%

    discount on brunch (between 9 a.m. and 3

    p.m.) and dinner (after 5:30 p.m.). Just show

    of town, to join them for a regularly scheduled Saturday

    morning run that coincides with the Health and Fitness Day

    of Capital Pride. After the run, the group will proceed to a

    local restaurant near City Hall for breakfast.

    tranquil urban walk to view seven sculptures that grace

    the Byward Market area, including a majestic totem pole,

    Hundred Food Line. Which one will be your favourite?...

    The walk is from 10:50 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and it begins

    and ends at City Halls Laurier Ave. West entrance. All are

    Description: The Ottawa Wolves would like to encourage

    people to come and join them to watch a rugby game at

    Twin Elm rugby park where Rugby Canada will be

    hosting North America Caribbean Rugby Association

    (NACRA). This International tournament will showcase some

    of the very best athletes in world sport from this particular

    region of the world.

    Participants vying for a

    coveted qualifying position in

    the 2013 World Cup will represent the countries of: Canada,USA, Jamaica, St. Vincent, Mexico, Bermuda, Bahamas,

    Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and The Cayman

    training sessions where you can brush up on your skills (or

    simply introduce yourself to the sport) and then jump onto

    the court to put those new skills to the test. And to have

    fun, of course!
